You looked up when you heard footsteps next to you, and you saw Razor standing there, holding his claymore by his side. The bloodlust had left his eyes, and now all that was left was a deep sadness. He sat down next to you and took your hands in his, which were now once again covered with gloves.

"Razor is sorry... for scaring you," he said, squeezing your hands tightly. "But Razor... saw you hurt and..."

You gently pushed his hands off of yours and said, "You don't need to apologize. I understand. Just listen to me next time, okay?"

Razor sniffed with a little bit of contempt, saying nothing in reply. Was it your imagination, or was he angry at you for telling him to listen to you? You just wanted to keep him safe.

"Are you angry at me?" you asked the wolf boy.

His response was, "Yes. A little."

"Why are you angry, darling?"

You tried to make your words sweet, to make Razor happy and make him give up information to you more easily. However, this backfired, and it made the wolf boy angrier instead of happie.

"Y/N is... trying to be nice... to get me to tell her... things. Doesn't work that way," he said, shaking his head emphatically.

"Aw, sweetie, don't be mad! I only wanted to try and cheer you up. You're so grim when you're mad," you cooed.

"Doesn't work that way," Razor said again, stalking off.

You got up and watched him go, feeling confused and hurt. What in the world had made his attitude change so much? It had done a 180 degree turn, from kind and sweet to cruel and judgemental. What in the world could have possibly triggered such a change?

You didn't know, but you were going to figure it out.

A/N- Sorry this chapter was so short, and sorry that I've been delivering such bad quality work lately. I just haven't been feeling motivated at all, and I'm thinking about trying to change my writing style to more elegant and refined, but then again I'm terrible at writing any way except in this terribly simple style... So I don't know what to do to be honest. Hopefully next chapter will be better. Please don't feel like you need to continue reading this, if you don't like how my writing has devolved, you can go, that's fine. I love you :)
