You looked at yourself in the mirror and smiled. You looked wonderful. A beautiful, fit, red dress was gracing your amazing figure; you gave a little spin watching how it twirled with your movement. Your hair was loose, framing your face to make you look gorgeous.

You were getting ready for a party! Finally, after a few weeks after the break up, you decided that you should stop ignoring all the friends you had in common with Akashi. Specially since they'd done nothing but support your decision. Everyone knew you needed time, so they didn't pressure you.

You just took your purse and decided to start the journey to Reo's house. It wasn't that long, just a 5 minute walk. Convenient if you ever asked yourself, since he is one of your best friends. The night air was fresh and you finally felt at peace. When you arrived, you knocked at the door until Reo opened up.

"Hey beautiful! You look great, come in." He said with a big grin and pulling you into a hug. You chuckled and returned the hug, wrapping your arms tightly around his waist. "You look awesome as well, Reo." You said after pulling away with a smile, making him pat you lightly on your head. Both of you walked until you reached the living room, where the main team of Rakuzan and some of your other friends were sitting. Including your ex.

You just smiled and waved at everyone before taking a seat besides (Friend's Name). You felt eyes on you, but you decided to ignore him for now.

The night kept on going; everyone was having fun and chatting. Well, almost everyone. Akashi still had his eyes glued into your form, it was actually starting to bother you a little bit. But, you knew you couldn't ignore him forever. Sighing you stood up and walked over to your ex. "Let's go talk outside, okay?" You said with a serious expression in your face before going to the garden. You didn't wait for an answer, you knew he'd follow.

"What do you want, Akashi?" You said, crossing your arms over your chest and looking at him with boredom. He opened his mouth and closed it after a little while. He seemed hesitant. Unsure. It was new to see him that way; he was usually so confident. He bit his lip before sighing and walking up to you. "(First Name), I'm really sorry for how I treated you on the last part of ur relationship. No words will ever express how sorry I truly feel, but... But I hope you can forgive me." He said. His voice was a little soft but both of you were close enough for you ti be able to hear him.

You searched for his eyes and found them. They held so much sorrow, almost as if you were the one who hurt him. You frowned. "I don't think you really understand how much you've hurt me. I loved you. I loved you so much I would've done anything for you. And you just didn't care! You say you're sorry, but are you?" You said, clenching your fists, although he couldn't see for they were hidden as you crossed your arms.

"I truly am sorry. I loved, no, I love you so much it hurts me, (First Name). Since you left, I've only thought about you. Please. Just take me back, I'll do anything." He said, a hint of desperation showing in his tone. Your eyes softened a little. This was the man that you loved so much for a while. Someone with whom you shared beautiful memories. But, you couldn't go back. Not yet, at least.

"If you love me so much, then why did you do that?" You said and felt your bottom lip tremble slightly, you bit it to stop the tremble. He reached his hands to you and you stayed stiff until you felt his hands on your shoulders. You relaxed slightly. These were the hands that held yours with so much tenderness, that held your face as he whispered sweet nothings to you, and the hands that always seemed to be able to hold all your worries and make them disappear. But not anymore, you reminded yourself.
