One Month Later
*Sophia's POV*
*One and a Half Weeks Later*
"I'm sorry ma'am, but there's nothing else we can do?" The officer said through the phone.
"But it's only been a week and a half. There's gotta be something else you can do!" I exclaimed, causing everyone to stare at me.
"I really am sorry ma'am. You and your family need to move on. There really isn't anything else we can do." The officer said before hanging up.
I slowly took the phone away from my ear and slowly began to sob. Everyone immediately crowded around me and embraced me in a hug.
"What'd he say?" Perrie asked softly.
"He said that they're closing the case. That there's nothing else they could do." I said through my sobs.
"There's got to be something they could do. It's only been a week and a half." Niall said angrily.
"No, there's not Niall. Liam's gone and there's nothing we can do about it." I said harshly.
"Sorry." I mumbled after seeing the hurt in Niall's face.
"It's okay. You've been going through a lot lately. I'm not taking it personally." Niall replied.
I can't believe he's actually gone. I can't believe my husband and best friend are gone. My daughter probably doesn't even care that he's gone.
*Jamie's POV*
*One Month Later*
It's been a month since our Emily's father just sort have showed up out of nowhere after scaring the heck out of us. Luckily no one was home when Emily went to go pick up a few things from her parents house. We haven't seen our parents since we moved into our new house and we would like to keep it that way until our first concert.
"JAMIE!" I heard Annemarie yell.
"What?" I said, jumping slightly at her suddent out burst.
"Last day of rehearsals before we're off for a couple of weeks." Emily told us.
"I thought we were only off for a week before we go on tour?" I questioned.
"Yeah, don't remind us." Jessica said Liam just laughed at us.
"What are you laughing at?" Emily asked her father.
"Nothing. You girls just remind me so much of the boys and I when we were your age." Liam explained.
"So, I'm going to take that as a compliment." Emily annouced as we all nodded. "Now if you exuse us, we have a rehearsal to get to."
We all laughed as Emily marched out the door right after saying that. This is going to be one long tour.
*8 Hours Later*
"Dad, we're home." Emiy called out as soon as we entered the house.
"Well dinner's ready, so come and eat." Liam called from the kitchen as Alex basically sprinted into the dining room.
So, Emily's father has officially been living with us for the last month. It's kind of weird having him around, since the five of us moved out of our parents houses a year and a half ago. But everyone still thinks he's missing, which is probably not good.
"Hello." We all said as we entered the dining room.
"Hey girls." Liam said happily.
"What's for dinner?" I ask as Alex is already digging in.
"Homemade pizza. Duh." Annemarie says in a 'duh' tone, while pointing to the pizza on the table.
"Oh." Was all that came out of my mouth.
*After Dinner*
"So, dad, you ready for the big surprise?" Emily asks randomly, as we're settling down in the family room.
"As ready as I'll ever be." Liam replies.
"You know, my parents have been calling me everyday since you disappeared." Annemarie said randomly, as the rest of us nodd.
"Really?" Liam replies in confusion.
"Yup. They keep asking us if we've heard anything from you or if we've seen you." Jessica says.
"You didn't say anything, did you?" Liam asks worried.
"No. But we had to stop answering them to keep the secret." Alex tells him.
"Dad, it's getting really hard keeping this secret from them. They're worried sick about you. I had to stop answering moms calls, because every time she called, she's in tears." Emily tells her father.
"Same with all of our parents." I add.
"When my dad called me the night you disappeared, he was baically sobbing so hard he couldn't breath. It took him a couple of minutes to calm down before he told me about how upset you were and how you disappeared and how there was some sort of accident down the street from your house. To be honest, I was so scared that it was you, that I started crying too." Jessica explained.
"Really?" Liam asked, in a very surprised tone.
"Yup." Jessica said, popping the 'p'.
"I didn't mean to upset anyone, I just wanted to see you girls. I haven't seen you guys in so long and I found your address, so I just decided to come over." Liam explained. I can tell he's starting to get upset by this conversation, so I decided to change the subject.
"Hey Liam, can you give us any pointers for our first album and tour. I mean, this is our first album and tour." I said as Annemarie, Emily, Jessica, and Alex gave me a confused look. Liam just smiled at me while responding to my question. I'm so thankful for our all of our fathers. They've all become like second fathers to me and I feel like I can go to them for anything.
*Third Person's POV*
Sophia and the rest of the gang are mourning the loss of their best friend and huband, while Emily, Annemarie, Alexandra, Jamie, and Jessica are having the time of their lives with the man that they thought they lost. If only Sophia, Louis, Liam, Niall, Zayn, Harry, Perrie, and Eleanour knew that their best friend and husband is alive and well and about to give them the surprise of a life time.
