Dinner with One Direction

*Jessica's POV*

*One Week Later*

It's been a week since our tour ended and we couldn't be happier to be home. All we've been wanting to do since we've been home was spend time with our families and maybe our mothers considering we haven't seen them in awhile. But our fathers keep telling us lie after lie and we're kind of getting sick of it. So today we're going to get the truth out of our fathers when them come over for dinner.

"Jess, they're here." Emily told me, shaking me from my thoughts.

"Already?" I replied as I looked at my watch, telling me that it was the exact time our fathers said they would be over.

"Yup." She replied as she went to go answer the door.

"HONEY, I'M HOME!" Louis yelled when he walked through the front door.

"DAD!" Annemarie yelled as she came running downstairs and to her father.

"Hey." I said to my father as I hugged him.

"Hello." He replied.

"Where's my daughter?" Harry asked happily.

"She's in the kitchen." I replied.

"She's sort of making us dinner." Alex replied as she walked into the room.

Harry just laughed and walked into the kitchen.

"So, how have you girls been?" Niall asked after saying hello to his daughter.

"Pretty good since we saw you a week ago." Annemarie replied sarcastically, causing us all to laugh.

"So, where's mom?" I asked nervously as the other two nodded in agreement.

I know we weren't going to bring this up until we were all sitting around the dinner table, but I was kind of curious.

"Um, they were really tired, so they decided to stay home." Dad replied, obviously thinking of something on the spot.

"Okay, we all know that was a lie." I say.

"And a pretty bad one at that." Emily adds.

"No it wasn't." Dad says, trying to defend himself, but it obviously didn't work for us.

"Dad, where is mom?" I asked calmly.

"And please tell us the truth this time." Emily adds.

"All we want to know where they have been for these past few months." Annemarie says.

Louis, dad, and Liam glanced at each other for a second before Liam let out a sigh.

"Niall, Alex, can you give us a minute." Liam said as they both nodded and joined Harry and Jamie in the kitchen.

We sat there for a moment in silence, waiting for our fathers to start talking. But after a couple of minutes, they still weren't talking, so Annemarie finally spoke up.

"So, are you guys going to start talking or so you expect us to read your minds?" Annemarie said sarcastically, shaking them from their thoughts.

"Oh, sorry." Louis mumbled, not meeting our gazes.

"So, seriously, are you going to tell us where they are or not?" Emily asked impatiently.

The three of them gave each other one last glance before dad spoke up.

*Jamie's POV*

Since Zayn, Liam, and Louis were talking to Annemarie, Jessica, and Emily, Niall, dad, and Alex decided to join me in the kitchen as I was making dinner. But I didn't mind that much. They are very entertaining.

"Jamie, you okay? You've been standing there smiling creepily for the past two minutes." Niall asked me with concern.

"Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking." I replied.

Dad open led his mouth to speak when we heard something very concerning coming from the living room.

"WHAT?!" We heard three voices scream before they stomped away, slamming the door behind them.

The four of us gave each other a concerned look before we slowly made our way to the living room, where we found three men with disappointed looks on their faces.

"So, how'd it go?" Alex said sarcastically.

The three of them just shook their heads and went to different parts of the house.

"I'm going to take that as very bad." Alex said after a moment of silence.

Dad, Niall, and I gave her a look that basically said 'No duh' and went to go find Zayn, Louis, and Liam.

"What?" I heard Alex yell before I went to go find Louis. Sometimes I wonder why I am even friends with her in the first place.
