The On Stage Surprise

*Jessica's POV*

*8 Months Later*

It's been 8 months since we've started the tour and it has probably been the best 8 months of my life. I don't think I have ever been happier. It is amazing to be traveling the world, doing something that I love. And not to mention, our relationship with our fathers has grown so much stronger, which is a good thing. We talk a lot more now, but not in the last few days. You see, our fathers some how decided to drop off the face of the planet the day before one of our biggest concerts of the tour. It's not like we're a nervous wreck or anything.

"Girls, it's time." The staff member told us, shaking me from my thoughts.

The girls and I slowly made our way to the stage, getting a multiple of 'good lucks' on the way. I never thought I would be more nervous to perform than this show. I have a feeling that somethings going to happen during the show, but I have no idea if it's good or bad. I guess we'll just have to find out.

*Zayn's POV*

*Before the concert*

"Are you sure this is going to work?" I asked nervously.

"Zayn, of course this is going to work. Why wouldn't it?" Louis asked.

"Do you see where we're sitting?" I stated in a 'really' tone.

"Well, it's not going to matter because half way through we're out of here." Liam told me.

"True. But won't they notice when we're leaving?" I asked.

"Zayn, relax. We can guarantee you that they're not going to notice us at all. Just sit back and enjoy the show." Louis told me.

And that's exactly what I did. I took a deep breath and I enjoyed the show.

*Annemarie's POV*

*Mid-concert*

"You guys have been incredible so far. I think this has been the best show of the whole concert." I told the crowd, which caused them to scream even louder than they already were.

"Annemarie, you say that every concert." Emily stated.

"Shhh, they don't know that." I said to Emily, which caused the crowd to laugh.

"Anyway, this next song is for all of you out in the crowd tonight." Jamie said to the crowd.

"We love you guys so much that we wanted to dedicate this song to you." Alex added.

The music started playing throughout the arena, but quickly stopped once Simon Cowell walked out on stage.

"Um, hi?" I said, but it came out more like a question.

"Hello there." Simon replied, which caused the crowd to go wild. Man, they go crazy for the littlest things.

"What's up?" Jessica asked.

"Well, I have one little surprise for you girls before you start your next song." Simon told us.

"What's the surprise?" I asked excitedly.

"You'll just have to wait and see my friend." Simon told me.

"Then why'd you come out here if we were just going to have to wait longer for the surprise?" I asked.

"Just sit down, the surprise will be out here in a minute." Simon said in a half joking half annoyed way.

Right after Simon exited the stage, a familiar tune played throughout the arena, but I couldn't make out what the name of the song was. But suddenly someone started singing and someone's shadow appeared from behind us and suddenly it made sense.

*Liam's POV*

"You boys ready?" The staff member asked us.

"As ready as we'll ever be." Zayn replied right before the band started playing the familiar tune.

"Well, this is it boys." Harry said before he walked out on stage as he sang the first part of the song.

*Jamie's POV*

"Is that my dad?" I asked in confusion.

"I want to say yes, but I could be wrong." Annemarie answered, as another shadow appeared and also strted to sing.

"Okay, that has to be my father." Annemarie said to us.

Suddently the arena went dark, but a few seconds later the lights came on revealing the 5 people we were not expecting to see tonight.

Once they were through with the song, they immediately ran off stage, leaving us all very confused and totally in shock

*Annemarie's POV*

Well, I definitately wasn't expecting that one. No wonder they weren't calling us or answering any of our calls these past couple of days. They were making sure they didn't spill the surprise. I'm all caught up now.
