"Are you sure about this?" Natasha asks from behind me as she peeks over my shoulder attempting to see into the building 50 feet away.

"Yes. For the one millionth time, yes." I say shifting in my drivers seat of the grey sedan we may or may not have stolen when we touched down.

"We're all just wondering how you know how to pull this off." Clint says from beside Natasha

"I already told you guys that" i say lowering the binoculars from my eyes.

"No, you told us where you were 6 months ago. Not how you know how to get in to your super secret illegal operation." Clint replies

"Why can't you guys just trust me?" I ask, groaning in annoyance.

"It's not that we don't trust you." Steve says from the passenger seat beside me "It's that we wished you trusted us enough to tell us."

I look down, messaging my temple. Sighing, I shift to look at all of them. I lift my right sleeve showing the swords shaped in an X over the Hydra symbol. No one gasps, Natasha even looks unfazed. Barton too. Bucky and Steve share a glance, both of them attempting to say something but failing.

Finally, Tony speaks up "So, you're Hydra."

"No." I say, confusing them even more. Pulling down my sleeve I begin to explain. "You're all fake on my earth. The product of movies and comic books. The League of Swords, the ones who took me in." I say, easing the confused looks "On my initiation into the inner runnings on the circle, they told me they were going to brand me with it. They fed me, clothed me...loved me." I whisper looking down playing with my hands "I thought what the hell. So, they branded me. I thought it was some comic book fetish. Who the hell cared though, I was finally one of them."

"So you didn't know it was Hydra."

"No. If I had, I would've left."

"But didn't you know? Didn't you know that they were bad? That alone should've told you." Clint says

"You knew you were in a bad place at the circus Clint. Why didn't you leave?" I ask, and when he looks down in embarrassment I reach for his hand. Giving it a squeeze.  "Not trying to embarrass you Barton. I'm serious. Why didn't you leave?" I ask once more

"They- they helped me. In a twisted fucked up way." He tells me.

"They did the same for me. They helped me. So, I knew exactly what they were doing. Sure, I owed people things before and during but I owed the League everything I had. Beyond my life." I say. "He would always refer to a god. One that rarely ever spoke. One that you would be damned to not listen to if it were to talk. I never thought he was talking about my brother. He was dead at that point." I say, then clear my throat. "I wasn't alone the whole time. About halfway through the sixth months, there was a boy who came. He was always there with me, when I left I thought they would've killed him too just for knowing me. He reached out a little while after I was able to get back home."

"So that's who you contacted." Bucky speaks up.

"How are you even thinking about doing this?" Steve asks after I give them a brief nod

"Well, the League knows I left. The thing is, they never knew where I went. For all they know I've been on the streets this whole time with another organization. It doesn't matter whichever way this happens. My contact says my name still has an effect on people."

Steve looks over at me, his eyebrows raised "What kind of a effect?" He asks

"Not a good one." I say opening my car door, and stepping out. "In this case, that's good. Stay here." I order. I sprint across the street , hoping up onto the sidewalk. I walk a few steps before running right into a man in a black suit. Or as most know him смертоносный лорд meaning Lethal Lord. Not one to be crossed.
