Summery: When Wilbur died Fundy got adopted by reader(Who's royalty because we love that ) and instead of going around with the bench trio when he's revived, he wants to see his ex-son.

After the explosions of L'manbug and the Death of Wilbur soot, Fundy was left by himself. Eret had left him all alone so when (Y/N) had offered to take him in under their wing and adopt him, Fundy was blown away (Just like L'manburg).

Fundy was a bit hesitant at first, Eret had said the same and where was he? Gone. But (Y/N) understood and gave him time, building up a relationship with trust and love. They showed him nothing but kindness and love and in return they gained his trust.

And so (Y/N) officially adopted Fundy. Legal papers and all. Fundy was still a bit nervous at first, but after a week of moving into their castle and getting his own crown for a prince, being treated nothing but with kindness from (Y/N) and the people who worked about the castle, he felt at home.

Everyday was spent as if it was their last, going out to see the builds, (Y/N) telling stories of their royal family and treating Fundy as if he was their actual child (Making it sound as though he was blood family when he met their family (Yes Fundy met their family)). 

But one day, the dreaded day when Wilbur came back. Tommy didn't tell (Y/N) or Fundy, though he had hinted at it to (Y/N). When Wilbur insisted on seeing his son, Tommy, Tubbo and Ranboo were hesitant about it, trying to convince him otherwise but he was dead set on seeing his son.

The two caved and slowly took him to (Y/N)'s castle. Wilbur was confused at to why the trio took him to this castle that didn't look like Erets. When the Trio left him at the door he just shrugged and knocked.

One of the workers had opened the big castle doors and looked up at Wilbur, letting out a gasp before slamming the door and running away. Wilbur got a little annoyed by that but he calmed down and waited a bit more.

Soon the doors opened again to reveal a very dressed up person with a crown atop their head. They glanced up at Wilbur and tensed as they made eye contact. Wilbur glared down at them before clearing their throat.

"Hello, I was told my son was here" Wilbur stated while leaning down a bit to face them clearer.

"'Your son'? I think you mean MY son" They retorted while crossing their arms.

"'Your son'? I think your not understanding, I'm looking for my son Fundy" He smiled while trying to keep his anger that was bubbling up in a bottle.

"I know, but he's not 'your son' anymore. I adopted him and if you wanna see the legal papers I can get them" They said with a high tone then they did before.

Wilbur stood back up and cleared his throat. "At least as him if he's like to see me, It's been years since I've seen my son. I miss him" He said, pulling the pity card out on them.

(Y/N) sighed motioning him in and closing the door behind him and leading him up the grand stair way. The workers around the castle stared at Wilbur, his outfit stood out from the royalness of the castle.

They walked down a hall and stood in front of a door. (Y/N) knocked on the door and they both heard a 'Coming' from the other side. Fundy jumped up from his bed where he laid and happily walked over to his door, opening it and smiling brightly at his Parent, who gave him a sad smile. Fundy looked up and saw Wilbur behind them before freezing.

(Y/N) took Fundy's attention from Wilbur as they took his hand and lightly walked into his room, closing the door behind them and leading him to his bed to sit them both down. (Y/N) looked down and sighed, trying to find the right words.

"Fundy-"

"Why" He interrupted

They looked up at Fundy with glass eyes as he looked down.

"Why did you bring him here?" He said while gripping his hold on their hand.

"Fundy, Please listen" They said. They caressed his hand that held theirs as they spoke calmly, trying not to cry.

"I know you hate him, and I know he's caused you harm. But he wouldn't leave until he saw you, He's had a look at you and if you don't wanna talk to him, you don't have too. I'll get him to leave and You'll never have to see him again" Their tone wavered as if they were going to cry. They knew this was a bad idea and they never should have done it.

Fundy closed his eyes for awhile before his grip loosened and he looked up at them. 

"I'll do it, I'll talk to him. As long as you're with me" He said. They looked up and gave him a small smile as he smiled back.

"I love you" Fundy said quietly.

"Oh Fundy, I love you so much" They said while pulling him into a hug and patting his back as he quietly let the tears fall on their back. "I love you... Son"
