Frey X Child! Reader
They/ThemReader is about 5-6
This is gonna be a mini series of Colorza's meeting Phil's kid for the first time. Starting off with Voidza or Greyza because I've fallen in love with zir character.
----------It was a dark and stormy night, everyone was around the furnace as it burned the wood. Kristen and Phil sat on the couch quietly talking as their child, (Y/N) slept on the floor next to the fire with their favorite plushie of a Phantom.
The rain was pitter pattering against the windows violently. It was obvious that outside there was a storm going on, if anyone were to get caught in it they would surely get hurt.
Phil kissed Kristen on the cheek before getting up and silently walking to the kitchen. He grabbed a cup and went to fill it with water. A crash of thunder came down and flashed in the windows. Phil dropped the cup on the ground and shattering it.
(Y/N) sat up in a hurry as the thunder and cup smashing woke them up in a panic. They got up and ran to Kristen on the couch, laying down on her lap. Kristen shushed her kid as they tried their best not to cry.
In the kitchen Phil was having the time of his life picking up glass and making sure he didn't cut his hand on glass. When he finally picked it all up on the broom pan he turned around to throw it away before a loud knock ran through the house, making him drop the glass again.
Kristen ran her hands through (Y/N)'s hair to calm them as they shook. Shushing them quietly as Phil went to open the door.
He walked out the kitchen and to the hallway where the front door stood. He unlocked the door and opened it just as a lightning strike hit the ground not to far away. Phil jumped a little as the tall figure in front of him.
"Oh, Frey. Come in, it's pouring outside" Phil said while opening the door more for the tall man to walk in.
Frey walked in and looked to the side where Kristen sat on the couch with (Y/N). Ze looked down to Philza who was locking the door before walking into the living room. Ze had to hunch a bit so ze could fit in the room as the roof was a bit low for zim.
Kristen looked over and saw the tall figure, she leaned back to see Philza motioning for her to come over so they could talk for a bit. She sighed and sat (Y/N) to the side, giving them a peck on the cheek before walking over to Phil as Frey sat in Phil's chair.
(Y/N) looked over at Frey as they held onto their plushie. Frey just sat there staring in front of zim, not really looking at anything. They slowly got off the couch, dragging the blanket on top of them as they walked.
They stood in front of Frey and looked up at zim. Frey slowly looked down at the child in front of zim and they jumped a bit, running to the other side of the room. A minute later they walked back up to Frey and stood their ground, holding out the Phantom plushie to zim.
Frey looked down at the child and slowly grabbed the plushie, careful as to not tear it with zir sharp nails. (Y/N) smiled brightly at Frey as they leaned on zis legs, yawning slightly as they did so.
Ze gave (Y/N) their plushie back before reaching out and picking them up, making them giggle. Ze brought them to zis lap where they rested their head on zis chest. Ze pat their back before going back to zis sitting as if there wasn't a kid on zir lap.
Kristen and Phil, after watching the altercation, decided Frey could stay till the storm calmed down. They both awed at the moment Frey and (Y/N) shared before heading upstairs to their bedroom where they would rest for the rest of the night.
Frey eventually tilted zir head down, making the string holding small jewels and trinkets, as well as the veil, hang down and swing a little from the movement. Frey closed zis eyes and fell asleep to the rain hitting the window violently as (Y/N) rested on zis lap peacefully.
