Luna's POV
"This bridge is our first waypoint," Ahsoka says, pointing to the holo map.
I was currently standing slightly behind Ahsoka who was giving a briefing for the incoming battle. Folding my arms, I listen carefully next to Anakin.
"Focus your fire on the gun emplacements, here and here, because it's only-"
Anakin abruptly cuts her off, "Because it's only after we neutralize the guns that we can push for the factory."
I nudge Anakin in the ribs, giving him a look that Obi-wan would have been proud of.
"I was-" Ahsoka looked extremely annoyed, "Yes, we can push for the factory. Now, expect stiff resistance from-"
Anakin pushes himself in front of her, "And don't forget to top off your energy cells and ration packs. Once we leave, there'll be no resupply." He finishes, glancing back, "Anything else, Ahsoka?"
I roll my eyes.
"No." Ahsoka frowns, " I think you've pretty much covered everything. In my briefing." She adds angrily.
Anakin nods, completely clueless, "Very well. Squad dismissed."
The squad of troopers nod respectfully to us and I sigh, predicting the argument Ahsoka and Anakin were about to have.
"Okay. What's next?" Anakin asks, turning to Ahsoka.
Ahsoka frowns, "You know, Master, my briefings might go better if you didn't interrupt me every time I tried to-"
"I wasn't interrupting." Anakin interrupts, " I was trying to help you."
"Which I would appreciate if you didn't interrupt me to do it." Ahsoka retorts. "I just think maybe you don't trust me to give the briefing."
Anakin turns around, "It's not about trust. It's about getting the job done right."
"So you don't trust me to get the job done right! I knew it!" Ahsoka says angrily.
I step in, "Guys, let's maybe no-"
The two ignore me. Continuing their argument, I sigh, rolling my eyes. Obi-wan and I argued sometimes, but we always were able to compromise in the end. Usually. The point was, Anakin and Ahsoka argued too much. Always at the wrong time and at the wrong place.
"Well I've had enough of this," I mutter under my breath, jogging over to Rex who was standing a little ways away from the three of us. "They're at it. Again." I grumble.
Rex sighs, "Can't say I'm surprised, Commander. It happens at least once per day."
"When Obi-wan told me to stay behind to help take the main factory, I was expecting to be in battle or something. Definitely not listening to those two argue and trying to break it up." I complain as a group of gunships fly over to us to land.
"I'm sure you'll have your turn in battle soon." Rex tells me, " At least you're not stuck with those two arguing for the rest of the war."
As the Gunships land, I follow Rex to greet the two figures getting off.
"Good day, General." Rex nods respectfully to Master Luminara, "Skywalker's waiting for you.
Nodding, Master Luminara and presumably her padawan begin to head to where Anakin and Ahsoka were very loudly arguing. Falling in step with the female Mirialan Padawan, I swallow uncomfortably. She seemed about Ahsoka's age, maybe a bit older.
"Hello." She says, quietly, following her Master closely.
I blink a few times, "Um- hi."
Chewing the inside of my lip, I wonder if I should say anything else. Socializing wasn't exactly my strong suit.
