I had changed into my normal clothes and was wearing my demon mask and began wandering around Vale during the night just to try and clear my head and forget my past relations with team RWBY. Yet no matter how hard I tried they always were in my mind. I no longer care about how I used to feel about them but I couldn't forget them. 'If I cant forget them I'm going to go insane trying' I thought. I take a deep breath and try to focus on something else.
(Timeskip)
It was now early morning and I was out the entire night and hadn't gotten any sleep. 'I need to get back. I'm exhausted' I thought. I had begun walking back to the facility. 'Its pointless to try and forget because they are just going to try and stop our plans so I will see them again'. After a few minutes of walking I had made it back. I enter and begin walking to my room. Everyone looks my way but nobody bothers me. Neo and Roman dont seem to be here which is good because they would try to speak with me. I enter my room and lay down. I quickly fall asleep due to my lack of sleep. My eyes open to reveal an endless black void. I look around to realize I'm completely alone. I hate being alone. "Hello"I call out to the darkness to no response. "Anyone please"I call becoming desperate. I look around and there is still no one there
"You are alone but you are not the only one here"a female voice says. I look around frantically trying to find the person. "You cant see me unless I want you to"
"Who are you"I ask. She giggles. Her voice seems to be coming from everywhere
"I'm you"she says
"What do you mean"I ask
"Exactly what I said. I'm you, or are you me"she says as she laughs
"That doesn't make any sense"I say. She sighs
"Fine let me make this simple. I'm your Mr.Hyde"she says
(For those who dont know Mr.Hyde is a character from the book 'Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' written by Robert Louis Stevenson. It's about a man named Dr. Henry Jekyll who suffers from split personality disorder. His other personality is called Mr.Hyde. so I think you can guess where I'm going with this)
"I dont believe you your just a figment of my imagination"I say
"Oh Is that so"she says. "Turn around"I turn to see a woman wearing my suit and full mask
"This changes nothing you cant be real"I say. She lifts up the mask and she looks exactly like me
"We will see about that wont we"she says laughing. She disappears and I sit in this black void for what felt like hours contemplating what she said until I wake up. I sit up in my bed and look around the room
'Shes not real' I thought
