All the ladies were getting nervous, they had no idea what they are going to perform and were afraid that all will make fun of them in front of Maharaj and Maharani, who had come to attend it.
"Amar, hum kaise nritya karenge ?" One woman asked.
"Humne toh abhyas bhi nahi kiya." Another woman said.
"Rajkumar Amar se hi puch lo." Devika said looking at him as he entered.
"Kya huya aap sab itni chintit kyu hai ?" Amar asked.
"Humne na abhyas kiya hai, hume nahi pata kaujse raag par nritya karna hai aur aap humse puch rahe hai ki hum chintit kyu hai ?" Devika said sarcastically.
"Radha Krishna ka nritya prem raag par hota hai, aur prem mai toh sabhi naach uthte hai. Tumhe kya lagta hai, Radha aur Krishna abhyas karke raas karte hai ?" Amar said.
"Kintu woh bhagwan hai." Devika said.
"Hum kaunsa nahi hai..." Amar muttered.
"Kuch kaha aapne ?" Devika asked.
"Maine kaha hum karlenge, aap sab bas basuri ki dhun mai swayam ko magn kardena." Amar said.
"Kitnu yadi basuri ki dhun mai kho gaye toh nritya kaise karenge ?" Devika asked getting irritated.
"Bas ! Krodh-prashn, prashn-krodh, yahi aata hai tumhe. Ab ek prashn aur pucha toh mai nritya nahi karunga aur na hi basuri bajayunga." Amar said walking to the stage.
"Kaha chale ?" Devika asked. Amar took a deep breath and turned around.
"Prashn pucha ? Tumne mujhse prashn pucha ?" Amar asked in anger.
"N-nahi maine nahi pucha, kisi aur ne pucha shayad." Devika said, not wanting him to leave at the end moment.
"Nritya karne chale ?" Amar said.
"Ha ! Awashya." Devika said and went to the stage with her friends.
"Haye meri Devika." Amar chuckled as he made his way to her.
The stage was designed as a garden with a curtain in the front. Amar walked in with his basuri and stood in center while Devika took her position beside him, leaning on his shoulders.
Amar started playing Basuri as the curtain opened, the audience smiled listening to the tune of the flute.
The dance began and as Amar said all were lost in the tunes of music. And it felt as if their feet were dancing on their own.
Devika too was completely lost to the music as she gave in to it. She felt that she has heard the music before and has danced on it also as her mind told her what dance steps she had to do next.
The audience were also in a complete bliss seeing their dance. They wondered how long it took them to choreograph it.
Maharani Shivani wondered how Amar and Devika can look so beautiful dancing together.
They ended their dance beautiful as Devika looked at Amar thinking whether she did the dance properly or not, and Amar gave her a assuring smile.
"Atyant Sundar !" Everyone compliment clapping.
"Aise dekhke lagta hai ki sakshat Radha Krishna ko dekh liya." Vilasvati said.
"Dono ki jodi kitni sundar hai." Maharani Shivani said.
"Satya kaha." Maharaj Raghav said.
