Vidcon!?

~LINK'S POV~

I get into Rhett's neighborhood, to go to our hotel for Vidcon. I always get pumped for Vidcon or Playlist Live. I just love to meet the fans!

I make it down the road to his house and park the car in the front. I walk up to the door and rang his doorbell. Seconds later I hear the nob rattle. The door opens and Locke there.

"Hey Link! Ya need Rhett?" He asked kindly. "Ya. I'm taking him away from you!" I say picking him up to my side horizontally. "Hey Link! Ya ready!?" I see Rhett sitting on the couch with his phone. "So you ready Rhett!" I ask getting closer to the door.

"Yes! Wait, hold on a second..." he whispers getting a nerf handgun from the table. "Wait for what?" I questioned. "Jessie said she was going to say goodbye when I leave, so I'm going to try to shoot her." "Okay I doubt it though." I say still whispering.

"Then I'm going to blame it on Locke." He added. I look over at Locke and he gasped in disgrace. His face was too funny, how could you not laugh! "Hey Link! I hope this Vidcon will be awesome!" Jessie said as she entered the kitchen. Rhett pulled the trigger and I saw the dart fly through the air. Rhett tossed the handgun to Locke and the dart hit Jessie in the shoulder.

"Nice shot Locke!" Rhett said as he nudged me with a over exaggerated wink. I looked back at Jessie and she had her death stare at Rhett with her arms crossed. "Really Rhett!" Jessie says with a chuckle. Rhett and Jessie talk a bit until I thought of an idea.

"Hey Locke, give me the nerf gun." I whisper to him. He hands it to me and I cocked it. I slowly raised the nerf gun and to target to Rhett's head. I press down slowly on the trigger. And it released. It flew across the living room to the kitchen and it made it to Rhett's ear. Rhett flinched with some karate move to be funny. I just laugh in humorous including Locke and Jessie.

"Okay, it's time to go now. Plus, where's Shepherd?" I ask. "He's with a friend from school." Jessie replies. "Ah okay. Well we need to go to the hotel before all of the rooms are filled!" I say inching my way to the door.

"Yea. We better bounce!" Rhett gives Jessie a kiss and he grabs his suitcase and backpack. We head out the door and Rhett puts his stuff in the back of my car. "Yea ready bro?"
"Yep!" He says buckling up.

I start the car and we head to paradise. Our family. Our beasts.

~ CORI'S POV~

"I want to go to Vidcon sooo bad!!" I say whining as usual. "Well maybe next year." Lindsay said encouraging me. It didn't work this time. Lindsay is over at my house because we're heading to the airport together. We're both excited because we never been so south, or never been to California.

"We will leave to a few more minutes guys." My dad said getting Sampson, our dog, some food before we leave. He's a Great Dane and as my mom says, we're not getting another dog. He's pretty average for a Great Dane. He's 46 inches (116.8cm) at the shoulder and when he stands on his hein legs, he's about as tall as my brother Erik. He's about 6'4 (193cm). He's in college right at the moment and his major is engineering. Like Rhett and Link did now thinking of it.

"Are you excited?" My mom says behind my shoulder. "Yea. Can't wait to see grandpa and grandma!" I say nervously. I've never been on an airplane before so I don't know what to expect. All I know is that an airplane crash is more rare that car crashes. I stopped the tension I had.

"How many followers do you have now?" I ask Lindsay excitedly. "I have about 500! I can't believe this came so fast! I'd thought that I would say at about 350 but no, I gained over 300 followers within a week!" I could tell this was an accomplishment for her life.

"Have you made any friends from Instagram!?" I ask one more time.

"Yea a few! I can't remember them off the top of my head! But yes I did." She replied looking at her phone. Probably posting a new edit.

We then hung out in the living room for a few more minutes. "We are heading out to the car now!" My dad yells. "Okay!" I shout back. Lindsay and I go over to our 'station' where we have all of our bags and such. I swing my ShayCarl backpack on my shoulders and wait by my suitcase waiting for my dad to be here at the station.

"Y'all ready!!" My mom says doing the raise-the-roof motion. "Oh gosh mom please stop!" I say laugh yet embarrassed. Lindsay laughs along and we have a good time. "We need to head out now or else we'll miss our flight." My dad says as he came from the bathroom.

"Isn't your parents coming to pick you up?" I ask. Yes she's going to California and so am I but she's going for Vidcon. And I'm going to visit my grandparents. I honestly really want to go to Vidcon. If I do it'll be my first convention ever! My parents said if they can save enough money, I'll be able to go and bring a friend. Which would be Lindsay.

"My parents are here." Lindsay said glancing at her phone. "Okay lets head out." I say grabbing the handle to my suitcase. It's a big one since I'm staying in Cali for the whole summer.

We head to the door and my dad opens it. I was the last one to exit the house and in the corner of my eye, someone was by the SUV.

"Hey babe!" David, my boyfriend, says with his arms wide open for a hug. I drop everything and chase after his heart-warming hugs. People say we are like the tumblr couple in our school. I say it's accurate! Everything we do is really tumblr-ish and it's really cute!

"What are you doing here!?" I ask in excitement since it feels like a week ago since we've been face to face. "I now you're going to California right now and I'm coming with you!"

"Wait what? What about your parents?" I wasn't should what was happening because I didn't get this information sooner. "I didn't want you to be lonely. Plus my parents are totally fine with it! I know you maybe bummed but I'm going to Vidcon."

"What!?" I say with my confused, serious, and are you joking me face. I look back to his parents car which is nice because I didn't want no one to be the third wheel if David, Lindsay, and I drive to the airport for an hour.

"Honey we're going to take David with us so you can have quality time with your parents." Mrs. Young says from the drivers seat. "Well you better go. We'll follow you along with Lindsay's parents." I say getting in the back of my car. "Okay. I'll text you on the way." David says with his Link smirk. It was too adorable. "Okay." I say kissing his forehead.

"Hey David, can I talk to you real quick?" My dad says heading to the rear of the car. "Okay Mr. Thompson." I get in the car and he heads to the back.

~David's POV (ooh different! XP)

I meet with Cori's dad and I'm a bit worried. I'm not exactly sure what this 'talk' will be about.

"Hey, you do know that we'll meet up at Vidcon with Lindsay and Cori correct? This is her birthday present from me and I don't want you to ruin it understood!" He said raising his voice and I could tell his trying not to let Cori hear us. "Completely sir." I say relaxed. "Good, go with your parents and we'll follow you." He gestures to our car. "See you soon!" I say jogging to my car.
