CORI'S POV
"So your birthday is really tomorrow correct?" Link asked to clarify. "Yeah. I'm turning 19." I say. "Oh wow you look a lot younger!" Rhett says, shocked a little. "Yeah. Everybody I've met said I'm like 15 but I'm not." I say with a chuckle.
"Oh by the way this is Alexis. We met today before the podcast started." I add. "Aww that's sweet come here." Link said with arms wide open. Alexis heads to Link with a huge hug.
"We also have another question. How long are you staying in this area?" Rhett chimes in as Alexis hugs him. "I'm staying in California till the end of the summer. And Alexis says she's staying until the end of July." I say doing little gestures. I sort of talk with my hands.
"Wait... you two live in different states?" Link asks questionably. "Well yeah. Cori lives in Utah and I live in Hawaii." Alexis says wanting to be in the conversation.
"Ooh what island do you live on?" Link asked. "Oahu." Alexis replied. "Awesome have you seen the famous waterfall? The one that's been in Jurassic Park." Link said sort of fangirling. It was cute.
"Yeah a few times." She said. "Hey can you guys get together?" Lindsay asks as she holds up her camera. A more professional camera than the ones I have. She's our photographer for our adventure here in California.
She takes one with me and Rhett and Link, and one with Alexis and Rhett and Link. "Okay, can we take a group photo? Maybe... Hey Jen!" I see Jen look over. "Can you take this quick photo with all of us?" Lindsay asks. "Of course." She says with ease. Lindsay comes up next to me as we, I'd say 'pose' of the camera. Jen takes the photo.
"Okay here you go." Jen says handing the camera back. Lindsay went up to grab it. "Thank you." Lindsay says as he looks at the photo. "No problem..." Jen trailed off. "Lindsay." She said her name. "Lindsay. No problem." Jen says going to hang with the crew.
"Okay, here's our card. That address is the studio. Are you able to get there this Saturday at, maybe 11 am? We're planning on filming an episode then." Link asks. "Uh. Yeah. Yeah I can get there." I say with a stutter. "Cool. Meet you there then." Rhett says. I give him one last hug and Link also. Lindsay took a photo. Oh no when I see them I might cry. This is just unreal.
We say our final goodbye and head to the exit. Lindsay gets my vlog camera off from a chair. "Hold on was that recording that whole thing?" I ask getting excited. "Maybe." Lindsay says with a smile. She recorded the thing I may cry. I wanted to vlog about it but I was too nervous to take it out.
"Can I do something real quick with it?" I ask her. "Yeah." She hands me the camera. I turn it on and I look at the footage quickly. Luckily it was a great angle to see everything. I put it in front of me and start recording.
"I just met Rhett and Link..." I cover my mouth at this incredible moment. I close my eyes feeling a tear fall on my right cheek. I put the camera down and I stop recording. "This is astonishing." I say getting chocked up.
"Don't cry Cori!" I look back hearing Link shout from the front. Was I crying that hard? Well it's worth it. Tears of happiness.
