"Ai-Chan want to run a few errands with me again before it gets to dark?"
Ai-Chan looks up from her phone
"Senpai you run a lot of errands for your age."
"I'm not sure how to take that except that you don't want ice cream from the convenient store while we are there, since I was going to buy you one if you came with me."
At that her face lit up, and I knew she was on board.
"Ice cream! I'll follow you anywhere for ice cream Senpai!"
"I'll remember that. Alright then, let's go."
Suddenly the door burst open from infront of us reveling Noya and Tanaka.
"Two beautiful lady's can't just walk the streets alone without protection! Right Noya-San?"
Noya nods
"That's right! We will accompany you both! Ryu and I will be your body guards!"
They both try to make them selfs look scarce
"I'd be flattered if you hadn't eased dropped and almost yanked our room door off the hinges, what if we happened to be changing while talking, And you can't just invite your self!"
It's like the two hit their realization point on what they just did.
Daichi suddenly appears behind them and their faces pale.
"You two.." Daichi grabs them by their shirt collars
"First apologize to l/n-Chan and Aika-Chan, then your coming with me so I can keep a eye on you both."
Granted they ment no harm but still..
"Sorry F/n-Chan, Aika-Chan we are only trying to look out for you both."
Ai-Chan and I exchange soft smiles.
"Thank you Tanaka, Thank You Noya we appreciate your concern."
This seemed to make the two feel better.
"Yes, Thank you! Your awesome senpais!" Ai-Chan adds making tears flow from their eyes and sparkles surround them.
"Hey now I don't reward bad behavior here." Daichi sighs.
"Right, well we got to go. Good luck" taking Ai-Chan's hand we take our leave.
The store isn't to far from camp, as Ai-Chan and I walk I spark up conversation.
"Ai-Chan, do you like anyone?"
The girl looks at me and blinks
"I like a lot of people, if you haven't noticed I'm really good at making friends."
I look at her and raise a brow.
"You know what I mean, don't dodge the question."
Ai-Chan's cheeks turn a tint of pink.
"W-Well, Yeah I do."
"I knew it, you just had to have a crush on someone! So tell me, who is it? Is it Lev?"
Ai-Chan gives me a weird look.
"No! He just follows me around like a lost foster kitten Senpai. It's not by my choice. To clarify It's not Lev."
Placeing my finger on my chin I think back to every enteraction Ai-Chan has had with a male in my presence and try to remember how she acted around them.. then it hit me.
"Ai-Chan, I think I know but tell me anyway."
"SSenpai.." the girl wines
"Come on you know who I love" I coax
The girl smirks "love? Ohoho you do Love Ushijima-senpai!! I knew it!!"
I let out a flustered groan "Ai-Chan don't try to change the subject!"
Sighing she finally gives in.
"Tsutomu Goshiki, Don't tell my brother or anyone else!"
Her words come out at a fast rate but I heard her, I knew it.
"So Senpai, who did you think I like—er loved or w-whatever?"
"Hmm?" I look towards her, a blush and pout are clear as day on her face.
"Well I ultimately knew Goshiki had to be your crush but there had been times I thought Semi and Shirabu to since they get so many confessions."
Ai-Chan giggles "I'm not into popular guys Senpai, not like you"
"Ai-Chan, your more like me than you know. Also Goshiki has always admired Wakatashi and he looks up to him, honestly they share similarities too. You know, if you confess I bet he will accept." I nudge her, as we enter the convenient store.
She stops just before we enter the first isle.
"How can you be so sure Senpai?"
I smile at her. "Because he acts differently with you, a way he doesn't with me and his other friends."
Ai-Chan smiles slightly with a blush on her cheeks and nods. She then decides to go and get her ice cream, chocolate is her favorite somethings her and ninTendo have in common.
After Grabbing salt and vinegar Pringles a handful of slim Jim's and a vitamin water I'm ready to check out.
"Geez Senpai, hungry?"
I giggle "I missed dinner and this just sounded good."
"Its Junk food though. Not very healthy" she counters, I turn to look at her then her ice cream then back at her.
"Chocolate ice cream isn't either, maybe we should put it all back."
Her eyes widened and she hugs her chocolate ice cream protectively.
"No! No! Junk is fine! Nothing wrong with a little Junk! Please? Can we check out?"
I hmm "Thought so."
" touché senpai.. touchè."
After checking out we leave the store.
Ai-Chan digs into her ice cream with a plastic spoon and I open my salt and vinegar pringles.
"Eck senpai how can you eat those?"
I chuckled as I chew
Once swallowed- "I like them only when I'm in the mood for them."
Ai-Chan shrugs "I'm always in the mood for chocolate ice cream."
"I know, alright pick up the pace I have to call—" I stop my self before saying to much.
"To call who senpai?" Ai-Chan starts
"Nothing that concerns you." I take a drink
"Ushijima-senpai, right?" She takes another bite. I almost choke on my vitamin water.
"How did you know?"
"Senpai, you really should give me more credit."
"I really should."
