I head back into the room after a good cry. I honestly don't know if the call dropped because of service or because he hung up. He never called back so I can only assume.
Before I enter the room I wipe my tears.
I don't want to worry Ai-chan.
I didn't see Ai-chan coming down the hall or I would have bolted
"Senpai! How'd it go?" Ai-chan as with a suggestive tone.
I turn from her and try to gather my self.
"Senpai??"
Ai-chan quickly turns me around to her and I cover my face.
"Senpai.. oh no what happened?"
Ai-chan removes my hands from my face. I see her eyes widen.
"Who made you cry, I'll destroy them." She says with vigor.
My eyes widen at her tone. "Ai-chan.."
Ai-chan points to her self. "Me?!? What did I do!!? Excuse me as I self distruct!!"
I laugh at her assumption "No, not you silly."
Ai-chan sighs in relief "oh good. Senpai, did things go wrong with Ushijima?"
I look down and nod. "I think so Ai-chan, I think so."
Ai-chan pulls me into a hug and I hug back burying my face in her shirt. Ai-chan opens the door while hugging me and ushers me inside comfortably.
"We will get through this senpai, together."
Ai-chan and I sat inside our room and I tell her what happened.
"Well you don't know he hung on up on you for sure Senpai! Maybe the call just dropped!"
I frown and blow my nose in a tissue.
"He didn't make the effort to call back so what else could it be!"
Ai-chan crosses her arms over her chest. "Well, did you make a effort to call him back?"
I shake my head "n-no"
Ai-chan smiles softly "Well what if Ushijima is thinking the same about you? Maybe he thinks you hung up with him and doesn't want to overstep and call back."
I look at Ai-chan mouth gaped
"I didn't see it like that Ai-chan.... I'm still skeptical. Your to smart for your own good you know?"
Ai-chan giggles "You should give me more credit Senpai! .Now, Dont worry about this whole thing with Ushijima I bet it's a misunderstanding."
I laugh softly "Y-Yea.. I hope. It's too late to call back. I'll just see how things go. Thank Ai-chan."
Ai-chan hugs me "No problem Senpai."
