It had been a couple of days and I still haven't heard from Wakatoshi. I've been holding my head up high every since our talk, or at least I've been trying too. Ai-chan has been with me through it all these past two days. Thankfully camp kept us busy but I still have times when I feel my heart breaking. I have assumed all possibilities good and bad that the call dropped by accident or that he heard my I love you and didn't feel the same. Ai-chan told me I shouldn't worry my self so much but how can I not?
Ai-chan and I are cutting melons with the girls again and they have caught onto my mood swings.
"Are you sure nothings wrong?" Yukie asks.
I sigh "I'm fine. Geez."
Ai-chan steps in for me "Let's just get these cut, the Barbecue is today."
"Shh not so loud! It's supposed to be a secret." Eri and shimizu hush Ai-chan.
"It's not like it can stay a secret, I mean these guys can smell a barbecue miles away." Koari says. I nod agreeing.
"They probably will find out but it's best if it's not from us." I tell them.
Ai-chan checks her pocket as her phone goes off.
"Oh crap it's probably my brother. I'll be back."
I watch as she exits the room.
"I'm hungry." Yukie pouts.
Everyone sweat drops.
"Yukie-chan! Not the melons!" Yatchi yells as Yukie grabs for the nerest watermelon cut.
I sigh
Gonna be a long day.
"alright I'm back to cut some big juicy melons!" Ai-chan announces dramatically.
"Can we have a normal day cutting melons for once?" i ask
"Not a chance Senpai! Let's size down some plump melons."
I let out a sigh.
