Jack leaned against the headboard of his bed as he worked on his homework. His phone began ringing and he picked up his phone and looked down at the Caller ID.

"Oh, it's Matt!" Jack said to Evan, who was sitting at his desk.

"It is?" Evan said, turning around on his chair.

"Yeah," Jack smiled and nodded.

He answered the phone and held it up to his ear.

"Hello? Matt? Is that you? Are you okay?" Jack asked.

"Jack?" Matt said.

"Dude, where have you been? I've been so worried about you," Jack said. "Are you okay?"

"I'm - I'm fine," Matt said.

"What happened?" Jack asked.

"I, uh," Matt hesitated, "is anyone with you?"

"Well, um, I'm in my room with Evan, why?" Jack asked.

"No one can know what I'm about to tell you," Matt said.

"Okay," Jack said. "Just hold on a sec..."

Jack closed his laptop and placed it on his bed and headed out of the room. He headed over to the Sky Deck.

"Alright," Jack said, "I'm out on the sky deck. Barely anyone is around."

"Okay," Matt said.

"What happened? I haven't heard anything," Jack said. "Justin, Alex and the others have no idea what happened to you. I haven't heard anything from your dad or Rose. Are you okay?"

"I..." Matt hesitated again, "I got attacked."

"What?!" Jack exclaimed. "You got - are you okay?"

"I'm - I'm okay now," Matt said. "I was in the hospital for a week, the wizard world hospital."

"Oh, man," Jack said. "What attacked you?"

"A werewolf," Matt said.

"A what?"Jack said, shocked.

People looked at him with confused expressions on their faces.

"Werewolves exist?" Jack asked, lowering his voice, realizing how loud he was and that this topic isn't something any normal person can know.

"Yeah, they do," Matt confirmed. "After Juliet, is the existence of werewolves surprising?"

"Good point," Jack said. "Are - are you okay?"

"Yeah, I am now," Matt said, "but..."

"Buuut?" Jack said.

"I'm a werewolf now," Matt said.

"Oh."

"Yeah," Matt said. "I'll - I'll be turning into one every month during the full moon and I..."

"Oh, God," Jack said, "I wish I were there to help you."

"Hey, it's fine," Matt said, "don't worry about it."

"You're still my best friend," Jack said, guiltily, "I should be there for you."

"Hey, don't worry," Matt said, "you're phone calls and texts are all I need from you since you're on the cruise ship."

Jack took a deep breath. "I'lll come off the ship for Christmas break. I'll come over the moment I get off the ship."

Jack looked behind him to see Evan with Bailey.
