Saturday morning rolled around and Jack sat out on the Sky Deck. He had his laptop out on the table and was eating breakfast.
As he typed away, Bailey joined him.
"Hey," Bailey greeted him.
She pulled a chair and sat down.
"Hey," Jack said, glancing up.
"Whatcha working on?" she asked, interestedly. "Homework?"
"Not homework," Jack shook his head.
He picked up his spoon and took a bite from his cereal.
"What is it?" Bailey wondered.
"Oh, uh, it's nothing," Jack shook his head.
"Oh, come on," Bailey insisted, "tell me."
"It's nothing!" Jack said. "I don't want to talk about it."
"Oh," Bailey said.
Jack quickly saved what he was typing and closed his laptop.
He pushed his laptop to the side and pulled his cereal bowl closer to him to continue eating.
"What are you planning on doing today?" Bailey wondered.
"I don't know," Jack sighed. "Why?"
"I was thinking we could go down to the island and sight see," Bailey said.
"Isn't that something you should do with, oh, I don't know, your boyfriend?" Jack said.
"Oh, Cody's busy," Bailey said.
"With what?"
"Homework."
"Didn't he finish all of the homework for this year?" Jack said.
"Apparently, no amount of studying is enough," Bailey said.
"Alright, fine, I'll go down to the island with you," Jack gave in. "But I just need to finish my breakfast."
Once Jack finished his breakfast, he and Bailey headed down to the island and walked around for a few hours to sightsee.
They stopped by a local store and walked around inside.
Jack found himself buying some souvenirs and shirts for his friends back home.
"Wow, you getting all that?" Bailey said.
"Yeah," Jack nodded. "These are all for my friends back home."
"How many friends do you have?" Bailey said.
"Well, if you would like to know, I was quite popular in Tribecca Prep," Jack said.
"Tribecca Prep? That sounds like a private school."
"Nah, it's a public school," Jack shook his head.
He thanked the cashier and picked up the bags.
"Here, let me help you," Bailey said, taking one of the bags.
"Thanks."
"Do you miss New York?" Bailey asked.
"So much," he said. "As much as I want to go home, I..."
"You want to stay," Bailey said.
Jack nodded.
"Yeah, I get that feeling," Bailey said.
Jack and Bailey headed back to the ship and they took the bags to Jack and Evan's room.
Evan entered the room a few seconds later.
