Glee felt incredibly awkward as Rachel walked in. She knew that no one knew what had happened between her and Santana par Tina, but as her eyes locked upon the Latina, she could see the anger and hurt in her eyes. She thought about talking to her for a moment, but decided against it.

"So, how's everyone's 'fun' song coming along?" Mr Shue asked as he walked in just behind Rachel, clapping his hand with a large smile. Rachel rushed over to the seat at the bottom row next to Finn.

"Ours is going great, Mr. Shue." Finn smiles back, glancing over at Rachel who sends a very quick smile back at her friend before falling in her chair. It was as if she could feel Santana's eyes burning into her back.

"Good to hear, Finn. I know it's early in the day, but does anyone want to go now?" He asks. Everyone shared looks, and Rachel found her eyes meeting with Tina's, who flashed an ever so quick wink at the brunette, who felt her cheeks heat up and a smile forcing it's way through.

"Me and Tina can go." Mike states, raising his hand. Mr Shue nods as he walks over to his usual stool for when the kids perform. Mike nods at Tina who reaches into her bag and pulls out a cup and throws it over to Mike who smirks and drags over a table from the edge of the class and stands Infront of it. Tina nods over at him as he begins to make a tune from it.

I got my ticket for the long way 'round
Two bottle o' whiskey for the way
And I sure would like some sweet company
And I'm leavin' tomorrow, what do you say?

Rachel hadn't actually paid attention to Tina last time she sung, but this time she did. And she could sing. As she reaches the end of the first verse she dropped to the floor as Mike chucks her the cup and she catches it and begins to continue the tune as Mike leaped over the table and began dancing.

When I'm gone
When I'm gone
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone
You're gonna miss me by my hair
You're gonna miss me everywhere, oh
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone
When I'm gone
When I'm gone
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone
You're gonna miss me by my walk
You're gonna miss me by my talk, oh
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone

After the chorus, Mike slid across the floor Infront of Tina and grabbed the cup and ran back to the table, jumping into it and impressively flipping off it before sliding back into the chair, and continues the little tune with the cup for a few seconds as Tina runs over and grabs the cup and chucks it away.

"Wow, guys. That was actually quite creative." Mr Shue laughs as he claps. Everyone else was clapping aswell, especially Rachel. Her claps were slightly over-eager, but Tina flashed an appreciative smile towards her. Mike pulled Tina into a side hug before the two walked back over to their seats. "Anyone else?" Mr. Shue asked.

"I've got a song" Puck speaks up, guitar resting on his knee and Mr Shue nods and he walks towards the middle of the room, already strumming away.

Almost heaven, West Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, growin' like a breeze

Rachel really hadn't listened last time everyone sung last time, as she was pleasantly surprised by Pucks singing ability. He suited the song perfectly.

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads

Puck sung the rest of the song flawlessly, and Rachel had to admit, he was great. Maybe her and Santana did have some competition for the sectionals duet. She chanced a glance over at Santana, who looked back with an unreadable expression. Or so Rachel thought. In reality Santana felt so much that she had no idea what to express. The hurt, the confusion, the anger. All of it combined to just give the expression of nothing. Rachel chanced a smile towards Santana before turning back around, too late to receive the smile back Santana had been able to push through.
