Xiao looked at the map of the school and started speed walking to the gym.

"Why you walking so fasttt" Venti ran to Xiao and managed to catch up "You could at least walk at the same pace as me!!"

"No"

"But whyyy"

After a few more back and forths between them, they finally got to the gym.

"Hmm? Oh, you must be to new student"

The teacher looked and saw the two boys. Though he clearly wasn't happy to see Venti.

"What are you doing here Venti? Shouldn't you be in your classes?"

Venti had a smug smile plastered onto his face

"Well, Mr Varka told me to follow Xiao to his lessons incase he got lost or had any questions..."

He pause for a bit then Xiao saw him smirk

This annoying thing is up to something...

"Did you miss me in your lessons that much Mr?"

Glancing at the teacher's expression, it was obvious that he was getting furious at the boy. A Icey blue haired boy waved at Xiao and signalled him to come sit down. Seeing the state of the teacher, Xiao didn't want to get shouted at and anyways, not like he wanted to stay next to Venti. Xiao slipped away and dashed to the back of the group where the boy who waved to him was seated.

"Hello there"

His voice was cold and carried no emotion, he neither smiled nor did he do anything to signal any emotion whatsoever. The boy had icey blue eyes that matched his hair, he had gloves on and he was to only one not in the P.E. Uniform. He was mostly wearing light clothing other then undergarments being a navy blue.

"I'm Chongyun, you are?"

Xiao didn't despise this strange kid but he didn't like him either. His emotionless face and tone seems extremely off and the fact that he stood out from the whole class didn't make things any better.

"My name is Xiao" He replied cautiously "Why doesn't the teacher seem to like Venti?"

Then a small smile appeared on his face just to disappear seconds later.

"Venti has a thing for pissing this particular teacher off" Chongyun explained "The teacher hates Venti for being so lazy and because we had to take all the subjects for the first three years... he had to put up with Venti's shenanigans"

A heated argument stirred up at the front, the teacher screaming and yelling at Venti but his dumb smile just shone brighter and brighter.

After ten minutes, the teacher finally gave up and started class.

"Ah so I see you've met Chongyun!!" Venti plopped down beside the two, "Hey Chongyun, how you doing?"

"I'm doing fine, how about you?"

"Heh I'm great!!"

Venti smiled as brightly as always making Chongyun smile a little too. Xiao looked around and saw the cryo vision hanging from Chongyun's belt.

"You have a Cryo vision"

Chongyun looked and his vision then nodded

"I see that you have an Anemo vision and Venti is a Anemo vision bearer as well"

Somehow Venti managed to find something to ramble about and the lesson went on with Xiao talking to Chongyun. Venti kept constantly getting yelled at by the teacher, and it was by far the highlight of Xiao's day. The first two lessons were cancelled for Xiao since Venti had been touring him around the school. Break time wasn't great since Xiao was tired of Venti and being with another energy bomb just drained Xiao of everything.

Soon enough the school day ended and Xiao was prepared to go home and slump onto his bed. He waited at the school gate for Hu Tao and luckily for him, Venti had already gone home.

"Hey Xiao!!"

"You're finally here Hu Tao"

"Well yes I was waiting for Xingqiu and Chongyun to stop making out in the bathrooms"

She had her hands on her hips and Chongyun blushed looking down at the ground. Beside Hu Tao and Chongyun there were two students Xiao had never met before.

"Hu Tao... who are they?"

"Oh right!! This blue haired femboy lookin dude is Xingqiu, him and Chongyun are very much gay" Hu Tao introduced the male standing next to Chongyun

The boy had a hydro vision hanging from his belt and he clutched onto a book as if his bag didn't have anymore room for it. He gave Xiao a small smile before opening his mouth to speak

"Ah so this is who you always talk about... right?"

Xiao perked up and glared at the soon-to-be funeral parlour

"What did you tell them..." Xiao said with a very skeptical tone

"Ehe"

One small, cheeky little laugh and her signature wink and side tongue face was enough to blow off Xiao's ticking time bomb

"HU TAO YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SH*T YOU BETTER GET YO ASS OVER HERE AND
EXPLAIN-"

"Woah calm down there-"

The other female in the group grabbed Hu Tao and protected her

"Chill out, she didn't say anything bad!"

The girl had a pyro vision hanging from her school skirt and she looked as if her bag was full and had just stocked up on a bunch of food

"She always said: Oh I admire how much he works so hard all the time!! I wish he could take a few breaks though..."

The girl had dark indigo coloured hair tied in braids and looped to make sort of a bow at the back of her head

"I'm Xiangling and I'm a chef from Wanmin Restaurant" she smiled happily as she introduced herself "Hu Tao was just saying how she wanted to invite you to come with us!!"

Xiao thought about it for a while then nodded

"Alright, but I have to head back to working later"

"Okay fine but have fun with us!!"

Xiao chuckled in amusement as Hu Tao kept talking about her day today. The two of them were ahead of the others so he looked back to see Xialing daydreaming while Xingqiu and Chongyun to be flirting with each other.

"I may be daydreaming but I can still hear you both being gay b*tvhes behind me"

Xiangling glanced back at the couple and they looked away in embarrassment. Hu Tao laughed and poked her head into Xiao's view and smiled.

"Whatchu think of your first day?"

Xiao hummed and thought about the events today

"Well everything wasn't exactly perfect, Venti kept annoying me like crazy and the classes today were sh*tty but other then that... it was all okay" he said as they were reaching the bus stop.

"To Wanmin restaurant we go!!!" Xiangling said, her voice full of excitement and happiness

Well uh three updates in one day-
This is what I choose to do with my life when I'm bored :')
And yes ik that doesn't feel like a Xiaoven story yet but shushhhh it will soon ;)
