Hmph!~ A Xiaoven AU

After school, Xiao waited silently outside his classroom. Someone tapped his shoulder and when he turned around he felt a kiss on the cheek.

"You know people are still around right?"

"Of course! But when you're looking so sullen, I can't help but shower you with as much affection as you can muster"

Xiao growled under his breath and started walking away from Venti. The two boys left the school gates and teleported to the Statue of the Seven in Windrise. After settling down in Venti's little tent, Xiao took out a slim box and took out a dusty flute.

"I'm gonna go rinse this stick in the river"

"Of course! I'll help you dry it later"

Following what he told Venti, he walked down to the nearby river and washed the old flute. Blowing off some of the remaining water, he ran back into the tent to see Venti creating a small orb of Anemo. He threw it at the flute and it was completely clean.

"Woah, chill out with that. I thought you were going to hit my face"

"You know I never will~"

Xiao sat down and Venti took out his own flute, not the Dihua Flute because that was reserved for special moments. The teaching session began and after a few hours, Xiao was able to play some simple songs.

(A/N: I'm sorry but idk how to write about teaching the flute ;-;)

"Heh, thanks for today"

"No problem! It's really fun teaching you, it doubles as spending time with you so I loved it!"

Xiao put the flute away and thought about what to say next. Venti also put his instrument and then went outside. The sky had turned dark and Venti lay down under the big tree, letting the wind refresh him.

Xiao poked his head out and got an idea, to him it was gonna be really embarrassing but he wanted to see Venti's reaction. He jumped up onto the ledge Venti was resting on and saw that his eyes were closed.

Quickly maneuvering on top of Venti, Xiao used his arms to hover over his boyfriend and started giving him little kisses across his cheeks. Venti opened his eyes in shocked and started blushing like crazy.

"H-hey... what are you doing...?"

"Showing you how much I love you"

Xiao said it with his usual monotone voice but then smiled at Venti. Wrapping his arms around Xiao's neck, he pulled him down making Xiao lie on top of Venti. Now it was Xiao's turn to blush.

"Venti?!! I'm gonna squash you!!"

"Haha don't be ridiculous!"

Xiao somehow managed to roll off of Venti and he took a deep breath. The bard sat up and Xiao opened one of his eyes.

"Hey, you know... I prefer you like this"

"Like what?"

"Clingy, lovey more... daring with this sort of stuff. Makes my heart flutter, you're so cute and adorable..."

They both got up then Xiao got another idea and slightly smirked. He pinned Venti to the tree and made his back touch the trunk. The adeptus then dived in for a sweet kiss. The bard was surprised at first but then he got used to the sensation. Xiao's arms travelled down to his waist and pulled him closer. Using his other hand, he held Venti's cheek and felt it heating up.

On the other hand, Venti was in panik. He didn't know what to do but he quickly kissed back, his arms going over his lover's shoulders as he deepened the kiss. There wasn't anything other than pure love tangled in the kiss.

Once they pulled apart, they both stared at each other trying to catch their breaths. Their cheeks flushed with a bright pink tint and the temptation of going in again lingered. Tilting his head, Xiao went in for another kiss.

(DAMN that is seriously the most detailed shit I've written in a while-)

After they were done, Xiao chuckled and grabbed Venti's hand.

"Come on, I'll stay with you until you fall asleep"

"Not any longer...?"

He sighed and shook his head

"I'll be heading back to Liyue to fight some monsters that have accumulated. I cannot rely solely on mere mortals to protect the land I swore to keep safe"

Venti sighed and agreed, knowing that he couldn't change Xiao's mind. Once they both relaxed, Venti lay down and Xiao covered him with the blanket.

"Sleep well Venti..."

Xiao paused for a little bit before finishing off his sentence

"I... I love you..."

Venti smiled as his boyfriend unravelled his braids then after his hair was released, Xiao continued to softly brush his hair. After he fell asleep, Xiao quickly got up and departed from the little tent.

Travelling off to Liyue, Xiao began his work. He smiled as he realised he had regain some of his lost power and strength.

"Thank you Barbatos... you've given me more then I could've ever imagined..."

I just couldn't help myself y'know... gay stuffs is always welcomed ^^

Idk how much longer I can drag this on for but I have a few of other stories I have ideas for... so I wanna end this to start the others ^^
