Tess's POV
Tess has been struggling for months wondering if he is gonna come back to her but in reality, she knows that he's gone forever. No one in her life knows that she's struggling. She decided that it's finally time for her to get over it and go back to church.
Later that night
I have my mom drop me off at church early and when I go inside I see my best friend, Maddy. Once my best friend notices that I'm there she gets up and runs to me so she can hug me.
"Oh my gosh, Tess!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!?"
"I'm so sorry I've been at home dealing with something, decided I should finally get off my lazy butt and come back here."
"Yay I'm glad that you did, we missed you."
"Thanks, I miss all of you guys too"
A little bit later people start getting to the church while waiting for it to start I caught up with all my friends. I was listening to one of my friends tell a story when all of a sudden my friend stops talking and looks behind me. She tells me to turn around so obviously, I do. Once I do I see someone I never expected to see back at church. It was him, I start tearing up just at the sight of him and it's like he can feel my eyes on him, he lifts his head and looks straight into my eyes. I turn around and run away before he can walk over to me. I run into one of the nursery rooms and slide down against the wall and hug my arms around my knees tightly and start slowly rocking myself back and forth. I silently whisper "why is he here" over and over again until I hear his voice.
"Tess?"
"Go away Blake please"
"No. I'm not leaving you here like this"
"Why!? You didn't seem to care when you left me like this months ago."
"..."
"Yeah, that's what I thought Blake. Just leave me alone."
"Okay...want me to get Maddy?"
"No. Just go."
"Okay..bye Tess"
