A cluster of skeletons from some of the oldest AUs were seated around the Star Sanses Base's meeting room in tense silence.
When Ink sent out a message to everyone to meet up at the mostly unused location, no one was really sure what was going on, and whether or not they should be worried.
-Hey, everyone!-
-Can those available meet me at the Council room?-
-Nothing urgent or anything, just need help with something!-
-See those who can come in about an hour?-
-Ink!-
Classic looked around, seeing mostly his own equivalents from major AUs; Stretch, Red, Slim, Pup, Outer, Mafia, Skull, Sci, Crow, Pirate, Alter, Lust, Farmer, G, Reaper, Geno and Fresh. All quietly looking around and waiting for whatever news Ink had.
Classic checked the time. Ink was currently 10 minutes late. Annoying, but Ink sucked at doing anything by a set time, even if he arranged it himself.
Classic turned to Stretcth. "So, how ya been?"
Stretch shrugged. "Okay, I guess. Kid has been pretty quiet and Blue's been spending more time at the new house then at home."
"Well, he was a part of the truce signing as a Star Sans."
"Yeah, I know. But it's been damn quiet with him gone." Stretch mumbled, unhappy.
Classic scratched his skull. "Ain't ya able to visit him freely now? Since you and Error worked out ya issues at that party."
Stretch nodded. "I could, but it's still kinda... awkward, you know? It's hard ta just move on after so long. Plus Error still doesn't like being alone with me. I think he's just waiting for me to blast him or something."
Classic carefully watched his brother's alternate. "You wouldn't do that... would you?"
Stretch slumped onto the table. "Since Blue would probably dangle me off Outertale's cliffs if I did that, no, I won't."
Classic sighed in relief. He never would have thought he would have been so protective of the Destroyer of Worlds. But the time Error had spent hanging with Papy (with Classic nearby) had made him realize how wrong the Council was about the Glitch.
Sure, he had violent habits and enjoyed a good fight, but Error was also unbelievably kind and innocent. Error had trouble doing common tasks or using commonplace items, would often misinterpret things said to him by taking them at face value, he had a soft spot for children and non-Fell Papyrus equivalents, and he would even cry at sad movies when he thinks no one is watching.
Undernovela, too. Classic still found it weird that anybody would watch a whole universe like a T.V show.
He did find it somewhat entertaining to watch himself, though. Nothing was funnier than a Frisk with a full mustache.
The sound of a portal opening broke Classic's train of thought, he and the others turning to greet the newcomer.
Yeah, no one was expecting Ink to walk out with a grumbling child Error in his arms like an oversized doll. They didn't even note the fact that Dream, Blue and Nightmare's Gang was with them.
Sci did notice the box Blue was carrying, though. "Wait, isn't that my untested serums?"
Blue nodded and smiled, scaring everyone with the creepy teeth he had. "CORRECT! INK DECIDED THAT THE EASIEST WAY TO TEST ALL OF THEM WAS TO GET MORE PEOPLE TO HELP, SO HERE WE ARE!"
