Silence. Only the sound of the roosters outside their neighbors house can be heard. Both swallowing the lump of their throat because of the discomfort feelings.
"soooo.....I just wanted to say sorry because I talked to you harshly and rudely..." Jungkook started. Taehyung look down feeling so sensitive to open up the topic about what happened that day.
You can't really blame him. He is hurt because he never expected that to happen.
The way Jungkook treats him at those good old times feels so euphoric so hearing that words from his mouth hurts a lot.
Taehyung is awake at the thought of Jungkook is not accepting him as a vampire and he understands that but he still hopes that maybe he have a small part inside of Jungkook's heart...Even if it is just a dot, he will be in cloud 9.
"Tae can we bring back the old us? and not this awkward thingy?"
Taehyung just stayed silent not uttering any words. He bit his lips to prevent his tears from falling down his eyes.
Jungkook saw that and some part of him felt uncomfortable. He doesn't like it.
"May I ask something?" Taehyung met eyes with Jungkook. He finally talked and Jungkook Immediately gave Taehyung a nod.
"You know I like you right? THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU TREATED ME LIKE A HELL ON THAT ROOFTOP!" Taehyung shouted, not loud enough for their parents to hear. He utter it with a stern voice as a tear fell from his eyes.
Jungkook didn't know the answers in that, He didn't know how he felt that day, He didn't know why his body did that, but deep inside of him knew that he doesn't like it too.
It's too complicated to talk about this, Taehyung wanted answers but Jungkook can't seem to give him that.
Until Taehyung gave up. He is tired of the thoughts running in his mind daily. He wanted to rest and the first step for him is to move on.
"You know what? You're not worth it. Im just going to stop my feelings for you and you and Riva can have a peaceful relationship right now and yes you're right, Let's bring back our old friendship. Now sit down and I'll make you breakfast!" Taehyung said wiping his tears as he forced Jungkook to sit down on one of the chair.
Taehyung knew that it's too easy to say that but so hard to do it but he got no choice and Life Goes On so no matter how hard it is he will continue living.
He didn't want to stop his feelings for Jungkook but he can't just force someone to like him and the worst thing is that the person he likes has a Girlfriend.

Finally after a day, Their old friendship went back tho it's a little bit awkward they ignored it and stay the same just like the good old days.
Days went by too fast, It's finally Friday and Taehyung is debating whether to go to Riva's birthday or just stay here at home doing all the household chores.
Of course he would loved to come but the thing is, he doesn't know if he's allowed so maybe asking from his Mom is a must.
Taehyung slowly knocked into his Mom's door and went inside just to see his Mom cleaning her bed.
"Mom..."
"Oh yes Tae what is it?" Taehyung went closer to his mom and hugged her.
"Mom, You know Jungkook's Girlfriend right?" Taehyung's mom went silent for a seconds before releasing a small sound of 'hum'
"Her birthday is tomorrow, do you mind if I go?" Taehyung asked
"Taehyung baby, you know It's hard to take a risk, What are we going to do if something happens to you?"
"But Mom, Kookie is there. He won't let me encounter any harm" Taehyung smiled causing confusion to his Mother
"I thought you are moving on?"
"Yes but that won't stop me from being best friend's with Kookie right? I can be in the process of moving on while he is still my best friend...." Taehyung utter
"I don't know what to say Tae baby but Since you're already old, Im going to trust you on yourself okay? Have fun in there and do you want me to arrange your bag?" Mrs.Kim smiled while returning the hug to Taehyung
"Really Mom! Thank you so much! and yes please hehe " Taehyung scratch the back of his next and the next hours is just him and his mother preparing for his needs.
Once he is done, he didn't forget to thank his Mom as he went directly to Jungkook's room.
and as usual he didn't bother to knock as he just entered the room and saw Jungkook sleeping.
Taehyung went on the top of Jungkook laying in there and soon he felt a pair of arms on his waist, was wrapped around him possessively and suddenly he felt that warmth again.
He thought that maybe, Staying Best friends with Jungkook is not a bad thing at all.
