Chapter 18

It was less than an hour away from the wedding and I was standing in front of a full-body mirror, nervously tying my tie.

"Hey man, chill out," Kiri spoke up from beside the mirror, walking in front of me, untying and then properly tying my tie for me. "The girls have everything under control. And Izuku gave me your hearing aids if you need them just look over to me and tap your ear twice." He stepped away but stepped back in front of me reaching for my hair, pulling back a fluff, then stepping back once again so I could see myself in the mirror.

I smoothed my tie out a bit, "you sure?"

"Cmon man, have some faith in your friends. Everything will be perfect, your only job is to focus on your soon-to-be husband." He smiled reassuringly at me.

I nodded and took a deep breath, "cmon, Sero is picking us up." He said linking his arm with mine to drag me outside to the car Sero had just pulled up in.

When we arrived there my mom was waiting outside for us. She wore a simple white dress with orange details that stopped at her knees.

"I'm gonna park the car, be back in a minute," Sero told us as Kiri and I stepped out of the car. My mom walked over to me, holding her arms open, "so grown up and so handsome." She said, "I'm so proud of you Katsuki." She brought me into a hug but muttered into my ear. "Be good to him or I swear Katsuki." She warned.

"Chill out," I chuckled, pulling away from the hug, "and thank you for giving me away."

"You kidding? I can't wait to give you away." She smirked. Kiri, my mom and I laughed a bit at that and then began walking inside.

When we walked in Lynx ran up to me, jumping into my arms. "Hi, Lynx." I smiled, "you look very pretty," I told her quietly, making her smile. "So do you, you're just missing one thing."

"And what's that?" I asked her, looking over to Kiri, he shrugged so I looked back to Lynx as she pulled something out of her pocket. "Close your eyes." She giggled, I gave a small smiled and closed my eyes. I felt her tuck something behind my ear, "there, now you're perfect." I opened my eyes, looking over to Kiri again, he just smiled, "Very manly." He laughed a bit.

Suddenly Mina came into the room, "Sero, get in line, cmon, Kiri, with me, Lynx you're going before Katsuki, got it?" She asked, "Yep!" Lynx smiled. Sero stood at the front, Kiri behind him with Mina holding his arm. I put Lynx down so she could go when it was her turn.

I felt a hand wrap around my arm and looked over to see my mom, tears forming in her eyes.

"Thought you were happy to be giving me away." I muttered with an amused smile, "I am, I'm just thinking of the problem I'm handing over to poor Izuku." She grinned, dabbing at her eyes so she wouldn't ruin her makeup.

I chuckled but quieted down when Kirishima and Mina began walking down the aisle. I took a nervous breath, using my free hand to hold my mom's hand on top of my arm, "what did Lynx put behind my ear?" I asked my mom just as Lynx began walking down the aisle with her flower basket, tossing rose petals everywhere.

When Lynx walked over to the side, leaving the aisle covered in the rose petals my mom replied quietly before we started walking, "you'll see later."

"I do," I whispered, holding back my happy tears as I slipped the ring onto Izuku's ring finger. He had a few tears already rolling down his cheeks, a big smile spread across his face. 

"Do you, Izuku Midoriya, take Katsuki Bakugou as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for rich or for poor, for better or for worse, for as long as you both shall live till death do you part?"
