Easy To Tease, Easier To Spook

            Calamity took her time on her way back to homeroom, mostly to calm herself down. As she made it back the bell rang, she grabbed her bag and began following Jade to the cafeteria. "So, I was thinking tonight we could get together to work on our English project, if you want to that is?" Calamity looked at Jade as she spoke before nodding softly, her hands were still shaking in her pockets.

"Ya no that's fine, I can tell Lance you are coming over. He has been wanting to meet you anyway, because according to him he wants to see what I did to you to get you to hang out with me." Jade laughs as Calamity smiles, the tanned girl raising her hands and making a spell like motion with her fingers.

"I am clearly under your voodoo spell that makes me enjoy your company." Calamity found herself laughing with Jade this time, her hands slowly starting to stop shaking. As they enter the cafeteria Jade looks over at a back table, seeing Adrian with his head hung over a book and his hand interlaced into his black hair only exposing the unscarred side of his face more. Calamity was able to study it more this time, even from the large distance. He had a decently strong jaw line that was well defined, his cheek bones only seemed to compliment the rest of his face structure and made his exposed eye pop more against his fair cream-colored skin. Calamity swallowed down the rising lump in her throat, Jade nudged her gently as she also had her eyes locked on his face. "I know right, honestly breath taking and I don't even like the dark boy types."

"Shut up, it isn't like that." Calamity shoved her back, causing another chuckle to come from Jade.

"There isn't anything wrong with admiring the local high school boy fauna, don't be ashamed about it." Jade eyed Calamity and winked before grabbing her arm, interlacing it with hers as she began dragging Calamity to the table. "However, it is much better to get an up-close view, isn't it?" As they reached the table Adrian looked up from his book, his eyes back to that calm and captivating auburn they were that morning. Jade dumped her bag on the table and plopped down beside Calamity who sat across the table from Adrian, his eyes moving to Jade and staring at her for a second.

"Who are you?" His tone was cold, but more alive than usual with anyone other than Calamity. Jade touched her chest, acting as if she had been shot.

"Ouch, cut me deep Adrian damn. We have been going to the same school for two years now and you are telling me you don't even know my name? Rude." She smiles at him as he watches her. "I'm Jade, we literally have homeroom together, which you have been skipping a lot. You off eating the hearts of children or something?" She unzips her bag as he raises his head, lowering his hand from his hair which fell almost perfectly back against the side of his face.

"Why would I do that? That sounds revolting and extremely unsanitary." Calamity covered her mouth, poorly suppressing a laugh as Jade pulls her phone and a pair of wireless earbuds out of her bag.

"You just give off that vibe you know?" She winks at him which only causes him to look at Calamity, his face showing his desperation for her to explain which only made her laugh more apparent. Jade put one of the earbuds into her ear, turning on her phone screen. "Ya you definitely give off that 'wanna be vampire' vibe. Not my fault you are just easy to read." His eyes narrowed into a glare at her, Calamity smacking the table lightly as she let the laughter fall out of her throat.

"Don't ever compare me to a vampire again! I don't go around insulting you!" He balls up a fist as Jade drops her phone, curling her fingers by her lips to mimic fangs.

"What are you gonna do? Bite me because I made you mad?" Jade started laughing almost as hard as Calamity while Adrian lowered his head and ran his fingers through his hair again, clearly frustrated, and flustered. He looked up again as the girls began to calm down, letting go of his hair and reaching out while grabbing the ear bud that was still laying on the table. He turns it over in his fingers a few times before eyeing Jade.
