A lot of shit happened in the past couple of months. A lot. A lot. A lot.

Fiona had a bad falling out with her husband, Gus, which was to be expected but still.

Debbie got pregnant, she first told Ada who's face went pale at the news.

Carl was still in juvie.

Ada was doing pretty good, for the Southside at least. She was still babysitting, a new addition to her team was a four year old girl, Kylie. She got another job as well since her father stopped paying the bills since he got fired. Ada was currently a babysitter, high schooler, and worked at Old Navy. Haley and her got closer when Carl left, Haley was surprisingly normal. Ada's life was going pretty smoothly, besides worrying about paying the bills as a fourteen year old, it was okay.

Ada was currently at Old Navy, folding some jeans. She had to take the L into the city every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday for this job, at least it paid a little better than babysitting.

"Excuse me?" A woman asks as Ada looks up.

She's blonde with highlights, short, and had a big ass nose.

"Yes, what do you need help with?" Ada asks.

"They don't have my size in these jeans." The woman explains, clearly annoyed.

"I'm sorry to hear that, ma'am." Ada lies. "There's plenty of other jeans to pick from though."

The woman sighs, "I don't want those jeans, I want these jeans! I can't find my size, go to the back and look. Size extra small."

Ada takes a deep breathe and nods because 'the customer is always right.' She takes the jeans away from the woman and walks into the back, pretending to look for them. She stands there for two minutes before putting on a fake smile and returning back.

"I'm sorry, there wasn't an extra small in the back." Ada says.

The woman scoffs, grabs the pink jeans away from Ada and walks off.

What a bitch, it was ugly jeans anyways. Ada thinks.

She fucking hated this job, but $13 an hour isn't too bad. So sucking it up was the way to go, at least until her dick of a father finds a new job. Which has been taking more time that it actually needs to be, everyone can get a job in construction.

It was the morning shift, so Ada was free all day today. She stopped by the Gallagher's per usual routine, she's been hanging out with Debbie and Ian more since Carl left.

"Morning." Ada says, walking through the back door.

"Hey, Ada." Fiona says, tiredly. "This is Sean, my boss."

Ada waves towards the man, him reciprocating the jester, "Hey." She says.

"Hi." Sean mimics, drinking his coffee.

"Is Frank crying?" Ada asks, pointing towards Frank bawling his eyes out on the couch.

"Are you weeping again, Frank?" Fiona asks, doing laundry.

"It's called mourning a loved one taken too soon." Frank replies.

"Are you talking about that nurse, Frank?" Ada asks.

Frank just cries some more, so Ada deicides to shut up.

Ian walks down the stairs, he now worked with Fiona at Patsy's Pies.

"Want a lift to work?" Sean asks him.

"No." Ian replies.

"Your shift starts in half an hour."
