The night before, Ada got a text from Fiona. She told her that Carl bought back the house, so Ada rushed over to the Gallagher house the next morning. Hoping to catch Carl and learn what happened when Nick fled the party. Walking up to the door, there was a cardboard sign that read:

CARL'S CRIB

Ada sighed and opened the unlocked door to find a lot of chaos going around. There was posters, weed, alcohol, and gangster shit everywhere. Ada saw Fiona walk in the door with Sean, just as confused as Ada was. Fiona was currently questioning everything, especially the slide being built in the staircase.

"What the hell?" Ada mumbles.

"Hey, do you know what's happening?" Fiona asks.

"No, just got here."

One of the men constructing the slide being built walks over to them.

"I'm sorry, I thought the owner approved everything. Did he not?" The man asks.

"The owner?" Fiona questions.

"Mr. Gallagher." The man replies.

Ada and Fiona give each other a side glance, Ada sighs and walks away, hoping to find Carl and understand whatever the fuck was going on inside the house. She was happy that Carl could pay the house back, making sure no one was homeless, but the whole concept of him being the owner? No way.

Ada hears metal clanking upstairs and deicides that'll be the first place she'll look.

Ada sees Carl signing some liquor shipments in the hallway. "Carl?"

"What's up?" He asks, turning to face the girl.

"What did you do to the house?" Ada asks.

"Made improvements, since it's my crib."

"Crib?"

"Uh huh. Nice right?" Carl asks, taking a sip from the alcohol.

Ada takes it away from his hands and throws it in a corner. "No. Fiona's here, she's confused. You might want to explain everything to her. Where's Nick?"

"I'll talk to her later, got some homies coming over later to kick it. Place gonna be popping. You feel me?" Carl responds, ignoring the Nick question.

"Yeah, I feel you." Ada says, sarcastically. "Did Nick put you up to this?"

Carl takes a second to respond. "Yeah, Nick's gone."

"Where? Is he okay?"

"I gotta bounce." Carl says, brushing past her.

Whatever was going on with the teenage boy, it wasn't good. Ada found out Carl kicked Ian out of their room, so Ian took Fiona's room because she's been staying at Sean's and thought she moved there. Frank got a bedroom with Chuckie's grandma. Fiona got the couch. This wasn't going to fly or work for very long. Whatever it was, it wasn't going to end good.

It was eight am, thirty more minutes until school so Ada had to leave Fiona to deal with the drama. The good news was Haley was back, turns out they found her sister in New Jersey after like a week and a half.

Haley met up with Ada at the school yard and when the two girls saw each other, they couldn't contain their excitement.

"Oh my god, Ada!" Haley screams, hugging the girl. "I missed you!"

"I missed you too!" Ada says, hugging her back. "It was so boring without you, I almost died."

Haley laughs. "Literally me too. My sister causes so much drama which makes my parents and I having to run after her every two months. How was school when I was gone?" She asks.
