Intersected (One Shot Story)

Intersected

I met her in an intersection of a pedestrian lane. I saw how beautiful she were but now she's way more beautiful.

"Hi" she said as she awkwardly smiled at me. I was stunned for a sec then smiled back at her.

"H-hi din" I answered, dude. Why am I stuttering? This is not you man.

"I see we are stuck" I said then laughed awkwardly.

"Oo nga eh, Hehe, kung kailan may hinahabol pa ako" she replied which I did not expect because some will just laugh it out then done. Since she answered me, I might as well try to keep the conversation going.

"Sana naman hindi lalaki ang hinahabol mo?" I said then realize that my question is kinda rude but what happened next is unexpected.

"HAHA, hindi naman. I am tired of that drama. It's work related naman." Sabi niya na may ngiti sa kaniyang mga labi at luminga.

"What's your na-"

"Oh! Green light na! See you when I see you" she said then sprinted that left me dumbfounded. Tinignan ko naman iyong kamay ko na handa na sana sa pakikipagkamay pero pinagsiklop ko na lang ito.

"Nice to meet you Klaize Jozen" sabi ko na lang at nagsimula ng maglakad papunta sa pinapasukan ko.

Pero ngayon pinaglalaban ko na siya sa mga maling tao.

"You are not a qualified guardian for my grandson! You don't even have a decent job!" The woman yelled. I went near them then stopped them. Inaninag ko kung sino ang babae at siya iyong nakita ko sa pedestrian.

"Who the hell are you?" The middle-aged woman yelled.

"I am her Lawyer" I said then grabbed her out of the café. And honestly I didn't know the situation before even telling them that I am this lady's Lawyer.

"Mr. Klaize Jozen McKenlly may sinasabi po ako" someone snap in front of me then I saw her, the person that's worth fighting for.

"Mr. Kairro! I think something's wrong with Mr. Klaize!" Woah even if she's shouting she still has that beautiful poise. Damn

"Aampotek ka" I shouted when someone threw water on my face. I turned to look at who did that and there I saw Kairro holding a cup.

"He's awake. Madalas po kasi ang pag daydream niyan, mapa-umaga man o tanghali" Said Kairro but I just looked at them talking like I am not even here.

"What're you talking about Kairro" I asked with a deadly stare pero umiwas lang siya ng tingin sa akin at umalis na.

"That son of a living sandwich" I said while looking at my wet suit. I heard her chuckle that's why I turned to look at her.

"HA-HA funny" I mocked. But even if i'm pissed, I still smiled secretly knowing she's here. She's holding her 1 year old baby and I can say she's more beautiful when she's holding her baby. I remember helping her but why do I feel like I am falling for her? The thought of falling for someone else did not even crossed my mind but each time I look at her, I always feel the thumping of my heart.

"Mr. Klaize, lalabas lang po ako para bumili ng diaper ni baby, I forgot my bag sa bahay eh" she said then they head to the door but before she opened it, I stopped her.
