Dear readers,
If you've stumbled across this, it means that I've somehow foolishly convinced myself to publish this fanfic instead of keeping it in my drafts forever for only myself to appreciate it. I just don't think I can take that kind of rejection if people cringe at it or don't even read it (thank you for making this less embarrassing for me 🙏), especially since fanfics have a reputation for bad writing 🥲
(But I personally enjoy reading them 😭)
Anyway, this would be my first Narnia fanfiction. And yes, it's an Edmund Pevensie fanfiction. Young me was obsessed with the character, especially his badass fighting and maturity in Prince Caspian. Even for LWW, young me admired how nice he was to Lucy after he was rescued and how supportive he was to Peter (seriously, brothers are a dream in movies but horrible irl)
I've got some chapters down and a rough story flow planned out already. So I'd probably release a new chapter every week? I'm thinking every Monday (of course, according to my geographical location, so it may just be Sunday or Tuesday for some of you guys depending on the time zones).
Regarding the OC, Charlotte Baker, I'm imagining young Emma Watson. But feel free to imagine any person you want, or even yourself! I'm not so strict about casting, I feel that it limits our imagination when I tell you who to imagine. Just putting it out here that this is what I imagined when writing the story. But Charlotte does have her own personality (which is also different from Hermione Granger)! So don't feel weird if she reacts differently from how you would or you think Emma Watson (or the actress of your choice) would in any scenario 🤭
So here I am, hopping back into my 14-year-old phase of writing stories. I honestly don't think my writing has improved since the last time I was on Wattpad, but I hope y'all Narnians enjoy this fanfic anyway. If y'all have any constructive feedback for my writing, do let me know! But feel free to stop reading if you just don't like it 🥴
