Niall's POV
"So, where's mum and how is she?" I asked Greg after we all got in his car. He shrugged and started to drive off down the street where I told him I lived.
"Moved back to Ireland to live with her sister. There's nothing here for her anymore... She did leave the house here for both of us to have if we want. Really it was more for you to have to raise your kid instead of on the street, but by the streets were taking to get to your house, I don't think you live anywhere close to being the streets." Greg said looking around the fancier part of town we had just head into.
"There are eleven bedrooms at that house. I have no clue why he bought such a house so big for just him." I said as I pulled my phone out of my pocket.
"Probably expecting you to fill it up with his babies." Gemma said in a happy tone with a cheeky grin. That grin looked very familiar, but I could place where I've seen it.
"I'm only willing to do that one more time after the pain I felt. Other than that one more time, condoms for life." I said making Greg fake gag and Gemma laugh loudly. It's actually really funny how much of opposites they are, but they seem happy. I looked down at my phone and saw it was completely blown up with texts and calls from Zayn.
I opened a text and my heart completely stopped. I read over what it said and felt like everything was crashing down. How could this even happen? I looked up at the two people in the front seat trying to form words to tell them what happened, but only a few came out making me feel more frantic.
"Zayn took Aliyah to the children's urgent care, she wasn't breathing!" I yelled at Greg and felt some tears gather in my eyes. My brother immediately turned the car around and started heading for the children's urgent care. I shakily called Zayn, but it went straight to voice mail. I did it three more times, but got the same response.
"Fuck you!" I screamed at my phone, then threw it to the floor of the car. I put my head in my hands and started crying because I felt like a horrible parent right now. I put my phone on silent so I didn't know my baby was in trouble.
Before the car even stopped outside the building, I was jumping out of the car. I ran inside, straight to the front desk.
"My daughter! Aliyah Malik, she's here with her dad!" I yelled, the lady jumped back in her chair, but called for someone to help me.
A nurse took me back to where the rooms were and opened one for me to go in. The second I stepped in I saw Aliyah laying on the bed playing with a toy with oxygen tubes in her little nose, but she looked happy. I looked over to Zayn who was holding Christopher tightly to him, his eyes were red rimmed, but he was looking at his daughter like he was almost scared.
"Zayn?" I said as I shut the door behind me. I almost felt like I was going to be in trouble for not answering my phone or something. He looked up at me with a blank face, then back to Aliyah. I pulled a chair up and sat on the other side of the bed. Aliyah smiled at me, then sneezed. I kissed her forehead and looked up to see Zayn looking at me with that same expression.
"I called you over thirty times, Niall. I didn't even know what was wrong with her, I just knew she was having a hard time breathing. We got here and she completely choked up because she was coughing and sneezing so much. I'm not mad at you, I'm just wondering what happened that you couldn't answer one of my thirty-three calls or one of my twenty texts." Zayn said coldly. I looked down at my daughter and ran my shaking fingers over her cheeks. Her deep dimples popped out as well as a small giggle leaving her lips.
"I put my phone on silent. I was talking to my brother who I haven't seen in a year and didn't want to get interrupted. I'm so sorry, I just thought that-"
