Konoha's pleasant surprise.

• The surprise!

It was 6 in the morning and he just got summoned by lady Tsunade. 'I wonder what she could want at this time?' The blonde thought to himself. He just got done eating his microwave ready ramen, and started to walk to the hokage's office. On his way their he saw a familiar pineapple haired boy walking in the same directions was going. "Shikamaru!" he yelled to get the boy's attention. Shikamaru turned around and stopped walking so that the blonde could catch up. " Hey Naruto" he said in a lazy tone, as they continued walking. " What are you doing up so early" Naruto asked sounding genuinely confused. " I was summoned by lady Tsunade, but i'm also on an escorting job right now. I have to go get Temari and bring her to the office with me." he said as he yawned. " Lady Tsunade summoned me too!" Naruto exclaimed sounding like he didn't hear anything else Shikamaru just said. "What do you think she wants with us?" Naruto asked. Shikamaru just shrugged and yawned again. The two boys walked in silence until they got to the hotel that Temari was staying at. When they got there Temari was already standing outside. "Took you long enough crybaby" Temari said with a slight smirk on her face. "Troublesome" Shikamaru murmured with a sigh. Naruto greeted Temari with a loud Hello and a huge smile. They all walked to the hokage office with a light conversation flowing. As the opened the door they saw Sasuke, Sakura, Ino, Choji, Sai, Hinata, Neji, Tenten, and Lee, all standing in the office while lady Tsunade was sitting at her desk. They all said their hello's before lady Tsunade started talking. " Good morning everyone. You all must be wondering why I gathered you all here today on such short notice." Everyone nodded. " Well a few hours ago, while the Anbu where on a mission in the forest , they came back to me with a bunch of little kids." " What does that have to do with us?" Naruto shouted then Sakura hit him in the head. " Well Naruto, if you would let me finish, we had no idea who they were or where they came from so we ran some dna test on them to see if we could get any idea of whose they were." Everyone in the room stared in confusion. " When we ran the dna test we found some very interesting results" Tsunade smirked as she said this which made everyone even more confused. " Bring them in Shizune!" Everyone turned towards the door as they saw Lady Shizune walk in with holding a baby and the hands of a bunch of toddlers. The room filled with aws as they saw how cute all the kids were. " I'm still confused on what this has to do with us." Naruto says. " Well instead of explaining it to you guys i'll just show you guys the results." She hands a paper over to Shikamaru and everyone crowds around him to try to read it too. " This doesn't make sense!" Shikamaru exclaimed. Everyone's eyes opened wide as they got a chance to read the paper. Naruto stood there confused because he still didn't understand. " I don't get it" Naruto says. Tsunade walks over to Shizune and takes the baby out of her arms and takes the hand of the blonde toddler. She walked over to Hinata, who was as red as a tomato, and handed her the sleeping baby as she waved Naruto over and left him with the toddler who looked just like him . Naruto still stood there confused . She then told everyone to go next to go next to the person that was paired with them on the paper. She walked over to Shizune and picked up a little girl who had brown eyes and was wearing red, and handed her to a confused Sasuke who was standing next to Sakura.  She then picked up a child that looked like a mini Shikamaru and handed him to Temari, who stood there in shock. Before she got the chance to bring the next child to the next pair, an excited Ino ran over to the group of children left standing there and picked up and blonde one with blue eyes. " Is this one mine, he looks just like me!" She exclaimed excitedly as she cuddled the child. "Yep!" Tsunade said. Still cuddling the child, Ino walked back to her spot next to Sai. Tsunade walked over to Shizune again and picked up a child with long brown hair and handed her to Tenten who was staring at Neji in shock. For the last two children standing Tsunade took both of there hands, and handed the mini Lee to Lee then handed the little girl to choji. Everyone stood there frozen with children in the arms. Tsunade then looks at everyone and says " Okay, now let me explain before you all pass out."
