Konoha's pleasant surprise.

~Chapter 8~

•Bedtime- SaiIno
It was after dinner and everyone was going home. Ino, Sai, and Choji all stayed over at Shikamaru's house, because it would be easier than walking all the way home. Shikamaru and Temari went into Shikamaaru's room try to tend to their crying child, while Choji and Chocho finished up their last serving of food. Ino went to the room she usually sleeps in when she is at Shikamaru's house and took Sai and Inojin with her. Once they were all in the room situated, Sai sat on the floor and played with Inojin, while Ino looked through the outfits that they bought to see what they would all be wearing to sleep. She picked them all out matching dark blue pj's. As she picked up Inojin, about to get him dressed before she says, "What's that smell" with a weird look on her face. Sai walks closer to her and takes a whiff of the smell too. "I think it's Inojin" he says with a fake smile on his face. " Wait, I thought these kids were potty trained! I don't know how to change a diaper." She says with a panicked look on her face. " We will figure it out together, beautiful." Sai says with the same look on his face. Ino blushes and nods. They take a towel and lay it on the bed before laying Inojin on top of it. They then attempted to change the child's diaper. Sai's fake smile was wiped right off his face once he saw what the toddler left in the diaper. Ino and Sai stare at each other in frozen in shock. " What do we do now?!?!" Ino says as she takes the dirty diaper off Inojin, wraps it up, and puts it into the garage. " I have no idea." Sai says looking at her with his fake smile finding it's way back onto his face. They then hear a knock on the door and see it open. Yoshino opens the door. " I just came from Shikamaru's room and it seemed like they were having some trouble in there. I was coming to see if you guys needed help too?" Yoshino says while looking at the pair. " Yes please" Ino screeched. Yoshino walked over to Inojin and continued changing his diaper, as she told Ino and Sai to watch closely so that they could do it next time. After Yoshino was done she picked Inojin up and hugged him while exclaiming how cute he was. Once she was done she handed Inojin to Ino. "If you guys need any more help, just ask me. Try not to stay up to late. I'm going to go check and see how Choji is doing." Yoshino said as she was walking out the door. " Thank God she came to help us" Ino said as she got done putting Inojin into the pj's she picked out. " Watch Inojin while I change then we will switch." she said as she walked to the bathroom. Once Ino walked back in she went over to Sai and handed Sai his pajama set. "You look very beautiful." Sai said with a smile that was different from his fake ones, which made Ino turn as red as Hinata does. " Thank you" Ino said trying to sound calm. Once Sai was done changing, they sat on the bed and started trying to but Inojin to sleep. Sai was rocking back and forth with Inojin. "I'm glad I marry someone who is good with kids in the future" Ino says while smiling at the sight of Sai with their son. Sai smiles. After a few minutes, Inojin dosed off. Sai and Ino were ready to knock out too. They then layed down and fell asleep.
