Konoha's pleasant surprise.

~Chapter 13~

•SasuSaku
"I'm going to take Sarada for ice cream. You two should rest. You have been running around all day." Itachi says as he walks into Sasuke's room and picks up Sarada. "Thank you Itachi." "Thank you." they both say as they lay there almost lifeless. They go on tiring missions all the time and they are fine, who knew that a sweet little angel like Sarada could do all this damage. "I need to buy Sarada a toy car that she can drive." Sasuke says as he sits up. "And why is that Sasuke-kun?" Sakura asks, still laying down. "So that she can learn to drive before Boruto and I can shove it in Naruto's face." Sasuke says as he gets up from the bed and holds Sakura's hands to help her off the bed.

"I'm tired Sasuke-kun. Can we take a nap first please?" Sakura pouts. He looks at her and sees how sleepy she looked, so he caved in. "Fine, only for you." he says as he lays down next to her and plays with her cheery blossom pink hair.

•NejiTen
"No Neji she can't have cake now, she has to eat real food first!" Tenten screams as she walks into the kitchen and sees Akari sitting on the counter and Neji was feeding her cake. "It doesn't matter what order she eats it in as long as she eats." Neji says as he continues to feed Akari. "Stop it Neji. Your to soft on her" Tenten says as she walks over and takes the plate of cake.

  "She is two. I have the whole rest of my life to be hard on her. So let me be." Neji says as he reaches for the plate of cake, but Tenten moved it before he could reach it. "Here baby, eat this first." Tenten says as she gives Neji the side eye and feeds Akari a spoonful of rice. "What a buz kill." Neji mumbles. "Your one to talk. Your the one who's always strict about everything!" Tenten yells. "We'll look at you right now." he says. "Well my bad for wanting my daughter to eat her food." Tenten yells in a duh voice. "She was still going to eat it. Just after she eats the cake." he says. "Whatever Neji. Feed her the cake. I don't care anymore." she says as she hands Neji the plate of dessert, puts the rice down on the counter, and walks off into the guest bedroom of the Hyuga compound. "Did I go to far?" Neji asks Akari, who was paying no mind to the whole situation.

•SaiIno
  "Should we get him these? Ino asks as she picks up some shoes that were on the shelf, and showed them to Sai who was holding Inojin. "Whatever you want beautiful." he smiles. "Hey guys!" Choji says as he walks over with Chocho. "Hey Choji!" "Hello." Ino and Sai respond. "This is about the 7th time you guys have been to the store. Your going to end up spending your whole mission salary." Choji says as he looks over to their cart that was almost overflowing. "Maybe your right, but if me spending my whole mission salary keeps a smile on Ino and Inojin's face, I will be happy." Sai says with a fake smile. Ino blushed at his comment. "Thank you Sai, but you don't have to do that. I will be happy either way." Ino says with a smile.

•Naruhina
"Who's a cute baby? Your a cute baby!" Naruto coos to Hima. "twag." Boruto says as he taps Kakashi and starts running as fast as his chubby little legs would let him. Kakashi starts running slowly, to try to tag Boruto back, but misses on purpose. Hinata was sitting next to Naruto who was holding Himawari. "She's beautiful, just like you." Naruto says not looking up from Hima. Hinata turns red from his comment. "Hinata, do you have a fever!?! Are you okay? You should stay away from the baby if you do. You don't want to get her sick!" Naruto says loudly. "I'm okay Naruto-kun. Thank you." Hinata says as she try's to control her blush, but she can't.

  "Can you come her for a second Shika?" Shikamaru's mom asks as she peeks her head through the door. "I'll be right back." Shikamaru says to Temari, who was laying down on the bed with Shikadai on top of her. "So when are you going to man up and ask her out?!?" his mom asks as he walks into her room. "Huh, why would I do that." Shikamaru says scratching the back of his head with a blush. "Don't play dumb, boy." she says as she hits his shoulder. "Ow." he says as he rubs his shoulder. "So when?" she asks again. "I don't know yet." he says quietly. "Well you better figure it out. That is the mother of your child." she says with her hand on her hip. "I know, I know." he says. "Don't, "I know I know" me, figure out when your going to do it, and tell me." she says. "When I find the right moment I guess." he shrugs. "And when will that be?" she questions. 'This woman is so troublesome.' he thinks to himself. "I don't know yet mom, but i'll tell you when I do. I'm going to get help Temari with Shikadai now." Shikamaru says as he walks out the room.
