Konoha's pleasant surprise.

~Chapter 14~

(Lady Tsunade has summoned everyone to her office for an announcement.)
3rd person Pov
  "Thank you everyone for getting her on such short notice." Lady Tsunade says in a stern voice.
  "We have got a bit further into the investigation, and made an interesting discovery that has led us to where we are now." she continues
  "Where are we now, exactly?" Naruto asks scratching his head with one hand, while holding Boruto. "Well maybe if you would let her finish talking, you would know." the Sakura states to the blonde.
  "Instead of explaining, I think it will be easier to just show you all." the hokage says getting up from her desk and opening the door, causing confusion to fill the room. "Bring them in Shizune!" she says exclaims. "Don't get me wrong, I love Shikadai, but please do not tell me we had more kids." Shikamaru mumbles to Temari, causing her to laugh.
  Lady Shizune then walks in with people who look like the older version of the teens who were in the room. "Mama!" Shikadai exclaims as he squirms out of teen Shikamaru's arms and ran to the older looking Temari, the fastest his little legs would allow him to.
  All the teens stood there in puzzlement. "My baby, I missed you!" the older looking Temari says as she scoops up Shikadai.
  "Before you guys start asking questions, let me enlighten you all a little." Shikzune announces as she walks in front of the group. "So these are you guys from the timeline your children are from." she continues.
  "Wait so that's me!?! I'm gorgeous!" Tenten says with a giggle, causing her older self to giggle too. "How did you guys even get them here?" Sasuke questions.
  "That is classified information, that we can not share." Tsunade answers. "But, I brought you guys here to tell you that just as your children have been staying with you, you will also have your future self with you as well." Tsunade adds.
  "Aren't they old enough to take care of themselves?" Naruto asks. "I really hope the older version of you is smarter than you are now." Neji says shaking his head.
  "He's not." all the Adult Sasuke and Neji, answer in sync. "That's not nice." Adult Naruto says scratching the back of his head.
  "Well you are all dismissed. We still have a lot of work to do to get everything back to normal, so we need to get started now." Tsunade says, sitting back down at her desk.

Time skip to when they exit the building.
  All the teens hand the kids out to their rightful guardian.
  "I've missed my little Uchiha princess so much."  Adult Sasuke says in his usual tone as he showers his daughter, who is in his wife arm's, in kisses.
  "Mama, Papa!" Boruto exclaims as he hugs his parents. "Boruto, i've missed you! Have you been taking good care of Himawari?" Hinata asks as she picks the little boy up and pokes him on the nose. "Yes! Hima was being very good!" the happy child says, snuggling into his moms shoulder, while adult Naruto holds Hima and pets him on the head.
  "Pay wif me! Pay wif me!" Akari says as she grabs Adult Neji and Tenten's hands while jumping up and down. "I bet you have been having a lot of fun here!" Tenten says, bending down and snuggling the child who was eager to go play.
  "My youthful son, how was your time in my past!?" Lee asks, picking Metal up and spinning him. "Weee!" was all the child could respond.
  "I missed my mini me." Shikamaru says as he pets Shikadai, who was sleeping in his moms arm, on the head.
  "I brought you something!" Choji says as he picks up his chubby little girl. He then pulls out a bag out barbecue chips, and shares it with her.
  The teens who were standing a bit farther away, were watching themselves in the future in awe. "Our future selfs are hot." Temari says breaking the silence. "That's exactly what I was about to say." Sakura says giggling.
  "I have so many questions to ask them!" Naruto says as he attempted to walk over to where the adults were before Sasuke grabbed him by his shirt. "Let them have some more time to greet their kids, idiot." he tells him.
  "Why can't I just go talk to them?" Naruto wines. "Shut up." Neji says shaking his head. "Don't tell him to shut up." Tenten answers crossing her arms. "Here we go." Neji mumbles. "Wait, you guys are still upset with eachother?" Hinata asks in a quiet tone. "No, I'm happy. She's the one that is mad." Neji says nodding his head towards Tenten. "What do you mean I'm mad? I'm happy, can't you tell?" Tenten says forcing a smile on her face.
