Konoha's pleasant surprise.

~Capter 5~

•Park

After everyone finished eating lunch, Asuma and Kurenai ended up leaving early because they had a mission. Kiba had to go find Akamaru a new bed and Shino went along, so they left too. Guy suggested that they take the kids to the park. They all agreed and started walking their. Once they got their all the kids started running and playing besides Shikadai. When Shikamaru put Shikadai on the ground so he could go play, Shikadai just stood there looking cute and confused. Temari and Shikamaru decided to go sit on the hill next to the park and watch the clouds instead, because Shikadai seemed tired. Neji was on the slide with Akari, who was eager to slide down, in his lap. Tenten waited at the bottom cheering them on. Sakura was helping Hinata with Hima, while Naruto and Sasuke went on the swings with Boruto and Sarada. Choji and Chocho sat on a bench eating chips, while Lee and Guy were busy trying to teach Metal how to do a handstand, and Kakashi stood back and watched everyone. Kakashi was surprised at how well they all were with their kids. He was confident that they would all do a great job taking care of the kids for the time being. When Shikamaru reached the top of the hill where he usually watches the clouds, he pats the spot next to him so that Temari can come sit down. She places down Shikadai who just stands there tiredly. After she sits down, she reaches out for Shikadai so that he can come sit with them. Before he walked over to his mom he looks at some flowers that are on the ground and picks them, then waddles towards them and hands them to her. "Thank you, baby" Temari says smiling at the child. Shikamaru doesn't realize but, he was looking at Temari with a slight smile on his face. "What are you looking at crybaby" Temari says with a smile. "Troublesome" Shikamaru mumbled while blushing slightly. Shikamaru layed down, and Temari layed next to him with Shikadai laying on top of her. There was barely any space between any of them. They all ended up falling asleep. Ino and Sai were busy having a photo shoot with Inojin so Ino didn't even notice Shikamaru and Temari laying next to each other all snuggled up. As Naruto and Sasuke were swinging on the swings, with their kids on their lap, they saw Jiraiya walking by. "Pervy sage!" Naruto called out. Jiraiya tuned around and looked at Naruto, then started walking towards him with a big smile. "Who are these two" he said waving back at the two children who were waving at him. " This is Boruto and that's Sarada, they are from the FutUrE" Naruto said with a wide smile. Jiraiya gasped, "Are these your kids?! Naruto I taught you well! Also well done Sasuke!" Pervy sage yelled with excitement. Naruto got up with Boruto in his arms and ran over to Hinata and Sakura who were with Himawari. " Come look I also have a daughter! Isn't she adorable?!" Naruto said sounding excited. Jiraiya gasped again as he looked at the baby. " Congratulations Naruto, and you too Hinata, her hair looks just like yours!" Jiraiya exclaimed pointing at the baby and back at Hinata. Hinata turned bright red as she thanked him. Sasuke walks over to Sakura and hands her to Sakura. " I have to call Itachi and explain what is going on so that he can get a room ready for you two." Sasuke declared. Sakura blushed and nodded. "Okay i'm off to do some more research, i'll see you all later." Jiraiya says as he leaves the park. Neji and Tenten are over by the swings letting Akari beat them in races. Kakashi walks over to Naruto, Sakura and Hinata, and tells them that they should probably gather everyone and start going home or something, because they have been at the park for a while, and soon the kids would start getting cranky.
