♛ Chapter Twelve ♛
Dear Stanley, March 25,
Our post ended up getting seen by everyone in the school. Some girls even commented, things like 'I thought you were dating me', and one girl even posted 'we're not dating he was just helping me study' her user name was ThirteenAndLovingIt. That I had to laugh at. That girl was probably just trying to be funny, but even so, Seth is awful and he should never treat any girls like he has been.
Around midnight, I had received a text from Seth, asking if I saw the post. I didn't reply, but not because I didn't want to lie, it was because well, it was midnight. This morning, I replied to the text with a simple 'what post?' Oh, little innocent me, back to my old tricks and lying again? When was I ever going to stop? This wasn't right, and I had to put a stop to it. But, I'm in too deep. I know what he did to me, to Alyson and to who knows how many others. He was wrong, but so were we. If girls could fall for such a monster, as I did, they would learn, and it would only make them stronger. Now, only if I could convince Alyson that.
I called her, and invited her over so I could try and talk her out of this. She came over about two hours later.
"What's wrong? What's the emergency?" She asked, after rushing in through the door.
"Nothing, nothing." I laughed."It's about Plan GotchaBack." I said, using my fingers for quotations.
"Okay?" She said, the tone in more of a question.
We sat down in the living room, on the couches.
"I don't think that we should keep going with this plan." I trailed off.
"What?" She shouted. "Why not?"
"Because I- just- I don't know. I just- okay. If girls- smart girls- like you and me, are dumb enough to fall for monsters like him, there's no telling how many others will to and-"
"That's my point!" Interrupted Alyson. "We can embarrass him enough not to try to do this again!"
"Alyson! Look how much stronger getting hurt has made you become! People are going to get hurt in life, and we can stop every single case."
"No but we can on this one. Like you said, if we were dumb enough to fall for monsters like him, there's no telling how many others will too. Well, we have a chance to make sure that nobody else will get hurt like we did by Seth, okay?"
I sat there and thought about everything. How hurt I felt, how much he lead me on, his siblings for Christ's sake!
"Okay, I'm in."
I can not believe I am doing this.
