♛ Chapter Four ♛

Dear Stanley, March 15,

I'm sitting in the back of my mom's car, on the way to Seth's house. I have my license, mom just wanted to take me since she was already leaving to go run errands. My mom's name was Josie Ann, she was tall, with long blonde locks. She has crystal blue eyes. As we pulled into the circular, long and winding drive, my eyes focused on the house in front of me. I stopped at the bottom of the stairs, admiring the house that stood before me. There were flower beds on each side of the long house, full of hedges that lined the walls. There were monumental columns that held up the huge awning that I stood under. I walked up the stairs coming to a large, oak door. I rang the doorbell. Lights came on, as I could see this because of the glass paneling that surrounded the door. I stepped back, as the door opened, slightly. A little girl was the one who opened this door. I bent down, with my hands on my knees.

"Well, hi there." I said with a bright cheery smile. "What's your name?"

"I'm Carsyn." the little girl smiled. She had bright blonde hair, that contained little, spiraling curls.

"I'm Cassie." Is your brother home?" I questioned.

"Yes." she replied shyly. "Bubby!" she screamed with surprising yelling strength.

A little boy, quite older than Carsyn, came to the door. "Who is it?" he asked meeting my eyes. "Um. Seth?" he called.

"This is Cassie." Carsyn told the boy, matter of factly.

"Hi" the boy said blushing and looking down at his hands. I followed his gaze, to see a game controller in his hand.

"What do you play?" I asked him.

"All things Call of Duty." he replied shyly. Seth then came barging in through the two kids.

"Carsyn, Logan, what do ya'll want? Because I'm really busy and in the middle of..." he cut off, after seeing me standing on the steps. "Oh. Cassie. Come in." he said holding the door ajar.

"Thank you." I replied, walking through the open door. I looked around, taking in all that surrounded me. "And maybe later, me and you, Logan. We will play together, because that is my all-time favorite game." I said smiling.

Logan shyly smiled and both kids ran into another room. Seth soon led me up the stairs to the game room.

"Whoa." I said in awe. I looked around the room. There was an air hockey and foosball table. The was kid's table, it was covered with coloring books, crayons, and markers. In one corner there was a huge flat screen. There were little movie theater chairs. There was a popcorn machine and a mini-fridge.

"Whoa." I said again, trying to take it all in. It was just so much.

"Do ya like it?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows.

"Yes." I said.

"Good. I hope you're ready for this." He said removing his jacket.

What is he doing?! I thought to myself.

"Now let me warn you. This is my first time doing this with a girl." He added whilst kicking off his shoes. He walked over to me and took off my shoulder purse.

"Um. Seth. I don't think..." I was cut off, when he slammed a finger to my lips. NEED I REMIND YOU THIS IS THE SECOND TIME NOW. I bit his finger. He snatched his hand back to him.

"You're going down." He continued. He kissed my forehead, and suddenly, ran to the air hockey table. "You're the first girl I have ever played against, so if I'm going too hard, tell me and I'll lighten up." He picked up the blue handle. "Well?" He asked. "Let's go!"

After four rounds of me beating him, I got ready to go. I made plans with Logan and Carysn to have a play date tomorrow. Seth has football practice tomorrow, so he won't be there.

That's all for today Stanley.

Yours Truly, Cassie Roberts.
