Sara Woodwords

"My first question is for Darius. What made you invest in this project?" Alice Cunningham, the head reporter of my media house, asked the first question of the evening.

We're shooting for our interview right now. Since Courtney's gonna give birth this week and I absolutely don't wanna miss it, Jason and I are going to Fly down to NYC tonight. Abel landed here this morning and him and Darius will leave for NYC tomorrow.

Alice collected a bunch of questions from people online and scanned through it, choosing the juicy and interesting ones only. We're sitting in the lounge area of the hotel currently. My crew already covered the whole of the resort on camera and now we're finally shooting the interview.

"Abel's an old friend and Ariti Chain of Hotels didn't have a resort in this beautiful city so I thought, why not?" Darius, who was sitting on my right, gracefully answered as he looked into the camera. He was so confident in front of the camera as if he answers questions from public everyday.

"What about you, Sara?" Alice asked me.

"Abel and Darius are old acquaintances of my family and I saw a good investing opportunity in this hotel so I seized it." I said.

"Sara, your sister-in-law, Courtney Stalin did the stunning interiors and who, by the way, is nearing her due date. Any update on mama or baby Stalin?" Alice asked.

"I agree Courtney did a great job and her and the baby are doing great. We'll hear the good news any day now." I said with a smile.

"The hotel is named Três Amingos. It's Portuguese for 'three friends' but my question is, why not name it in Hungarian?" Alice asked Abel, who was sitting on my left.

"Nice question. Well, I'm Portuguese, Darius is Greek and Sara is Italian. Since I came up with the concept of the hotel, I took the liberty of naming it in my language." Abel said.

"How would you describe this hotel in 3 words, Darius?" Alice asked.

"Luxurious. Beautiful. Classy." Darius answered.

"Abel, how about you?" Alice asked.

"Elegant. Comfortable. Enchanting." Able answered.

"Sara, same question." Alice said.

"Magnificent. Welcoming. Home-like." I replied and everyone around us clapped with a smile.

"I think it's safe to say that Sara answered it the best." Alice said and everyone seemed to agree.

"So, Sara, I heard that you've filed for the trademark for a nail polish line of your own? Is it true?" Alice asked.

"How'd you guys know? I haven't revealed it to anyone properly yet." I asked, clearly surprised.

"Your fans love you and they wanna keep up with you." Alice answered curtly.

"Well, yes, it's true. I'm launching my own line of nail polishes soon." I replied.

"Now, coming onto a very juicy question. Sara, are you seeing someone currently?" Alice asked and I looked at Darius who flashed me a sexy smirk.

"Why would you assume that?" I retorted.

"Well, let's start with that blue rock on your right hand. Looks like a ring to me." Alice said pointing at my promise ring.

"I'm not engaged, if that's what you're wondering. It's a promise ring." I answered honestly.

"Woohoo! Who's the lucky guy then?" Alice asked and I smiled.

"I'll reveal that when the time is right." I said the truth.

Honestly, I believe it's none of anyone's business. I get that they're my fans and well wishers but I don't like when people pry in my personal life.

I'm a public personality but there are things that I definitely don't owe to share with them. If people came to know that Darius and I are dating, they'll bombard us with questions, theories, fantasies and what not.

Privacy is power. People can't ruin what they don't know.

"Last question for today, what would you like to tell the people who're going to pay this awesome resort a visit?" Alice asked.

"We've put a lot of hard work, love and hopes in this project and we would like for everyone to cherish it thoroughly. Enjoy, relax and rejuvenate at Três Amigos. The sole purpose of this hotel is to provide you guys with comfort." Abel answered on Darius and I's behalf.

"Wise words. And with that, it's a wrap for today's special interview with the owners of Três Amigos." Alice said and with a round of applause, we concluded the interview.

I got up from my seat and a person from my crew, helped me take off the mic which was attached to the inside of my blouse collar.

"Sara? Sara? Where are you?" I heard Jason's voice. He was standing, far from me, with his back facing me.

"Here." I said and he turned around.

"We need to get to NYC, right now." He said as soon as he approached me.

"Why? What happened?" I asked.

"Courtney's water broke. There's a complication in her delivery." He said and my eyes widened.
