"Uncle Andy, please get the jet ready for me and Jason. We're coming to New York immediately." I spoke into my phone as I packed my small bag with just my essentials.
I changed into my travel clothes just a few minutes ago.
"All of our jets are unavailable since they're with the maintenance guys. I can get you a normal flight ticket." Uncle Andy said.
Darius, Abel and Jason were in my room and since my phone was on speakerphone, they heard it.
"Take mine." Darius offered and we agreed without a second thought.
"Sara even if you leave Budapest in another 30 minutes, it'll take you 11 hours to reach NYC. You're gonna miss baby Stalin's birth." Uncle Andy said.
"Not with my pilot. He can get you there in under 7 hours." Darius said.
"Do we have 7 hours?" I asked Uncle Andy.
"I think so. The doctors say it'll take time since she's not properly dilated yet." Uncle Andy replied.
"We'll be there." I said and disconnected the call.
Darius called his pilot and got his jet ready while I, Jason and him drove to the airport.
Yes, Darius is going back with us. According to him, he wants to accompany his girlfriend in such an emergency.
I really don't mind. After baby Stalin's birth, I'll officially introduce him to the family.
I'm serious about him and I think so is he. Why wait?
Anyways, I don't like to hide things from my cousins and family altogether. We were bought up believing Family Is Power. We don't hide things.

"Are we late? Is the baby here?" I asked as soon as I saw Aunt Anna standing there.
"No, you didn't. Why're you guys here? Didn't you go home first?" She asked.
"No. We assumed everyone would be here." Darius said.
"I'm sorry. Good to meet you, Mrs. Knight. I'm Darius Ariti." Darius introduced himself.
"Hello dear." Aunt said.
"How's Courtney doing?" I asked as I took a seat next to her.
"She's good. Been in there for the last 14 hours. There are some complications and it's taking longer for her to reach the 10 cm of dilation."
"Everyone's home?" Jason asked.
"They're at Adan's. Adan, Adam, Rose, Lily, Katherine, Evan, Emma and Jasmine are here. Rest of them are preparing for the baby's arrival back at home." Aunt Anna informed.
"I suggest, you kids should go home too." She said.
"I'll stay here." I said.
"It's okay. Darius and I will be at Adan's." Jason said and they left.
Everyone at the hospital were now sitting in the waiting area. They asked me about the hotel, the interview, my stay in Budapest and Darius. I kinda let everyone know about Darius and I. Family's females already knew about us. Jasmine informed everything to Rose, Ava and Leila about our relationship way back when he took me out on our first date. My girls went ahead and informed my Aunts and Ma.
Ma didn't say anything to me. She said she'd like to meet Darius first which is understandable. They've never met.
We waited there and chatted for the next 3 hours until Aunt Katherine's phone rang. Courtney gave birth.
All of us walked into the room and saw Courtney and baby Stalin on the bed.
Aunt Katherine took the baby from Courtney's hand.
"Mom, meet Luca Hugh Stalin." Adan said.
"We wanted his first name to be Italian and middle name to be French. He has both our ethnicity in his name." Courtney said with a smile.
"I love the name. It's perfect." Uncle Evan said and we all agreed.
Once Ma, Uncle Evan and Aunts were done cradling the baby, Rose took him in his arms. After that was my turn.
"May I?" I forwarded my hands and took Luca in my arms.
"Hi baby. I'm your Aunt Sara." I introduced myself.
Luca was pretty much asleep. His dark blue eyes were droopy and he was on the verge of falling asleep. He looks so cute. So fragile. So pure.
I want a baby now.
"Let's go home. His family is waiting for him." Aunt Kath said as she disconnected someone's phone call.
"Courtney will get discharged in a few hours. We'll get home later on. " Adan said.
"Okay." Jasmine handed Luca back to Courtney and we all made our way to Adan's house.
As soon as we entered, everyone approached us and bombarded us with questions.
After giving them all the information about whatever went down at the hospital. We made our way to the living room.
I met Darius' eyes and smiled at him. My father was nowhere to be seen.
"Where's dad?" I asked Darius.
"Chloe here, accidentally revealed that you're dating Darius. Our dear Dad got up and went to Adan's study without a word." Jason explained.
"Sara Elizabeth Woodwords, can I see you in the study, please?" My father's voice boomed from outside the study's door.
"All the best." Jason said and I glared at him.
