part twelve:

It was Monday the next time Jay and Jungwon saw each other and it was obvious to the others that something had happened. If the blush on their cheeks wasn't enough to provide evidence, it could be seen in how awkwardly they talked to each other. This awkwardness didn't feel like the awkwardness when they were distancing themselves from each other but it was still weird nonetheless.

"When is the graduation celebration for the seniors?" Heeseung decided to ask to break the sudden silence. All of the council looked up at him before talking amongst the people at their table or whispering to themselves. Jake looked over at everyone before standing up, grabbing Jungwon's arm, and bringing both of them up to the front. "Come on Jungwon, we must have this discussion" Jake whispered before smiling at everyone. And at this, Jungwon snapped out of his little trance and cleared his throat, putting both of his hands behind his back respectfully and properly.

"We were talking with the advisors at the last meeting and they wanted to have the celebration a little bit closer to the end of the year. Last year it was a bit too far and after the celebration, students didn't care and began to laze around." Jungwon explained. Everyone was silent, listening to whatever the two at the front had to say. "If anything we should place the date on the last week of school," Jake butted in with a little grin, he was a senior himself so he was getting very excited at the thought.

Nobody said anything and just nodded along, a few of them even going to write that down in their notes. "I think that's all for now, we'll just need to discuss more after school. Thank you guys for giving up your lunch break to be here" Jungwon bowed towards them with a smile, waving at a few of his members who left to go eat lunch. Their five friends stayed put in their seats though with tired looks on their faces. It would be fun planning all of this celebration stuff but they couldn't just turn their backs to how stressful it will be to plan two completely different parties for the whole school.

"Don't mind me, I'm just not mentally prepared for all of this stress" Sunoo put a hand up with a roll of his eyes as he leaned back against the chair, letting his head rest on Ni-ki's shoulder. Everyone laughed as he earned a few agrees. "I'm excited to graduate and all but this party is going to be a pain in the ass" Heeseung groaned, putting his head down on the table. "Can we just like not talk about this anymore and eat, I'm getting sick at the thought of this" Sunghoon put a hand over his mouth and stomach, sticking his tongue out. Jake laughed at him before taking the seat next to him.

Jungwon laughed as well and sat beside Jay, reaching to grab his papers that Jay was holding kindly. The papers decided to go flying when he was up there so the older one made sure to hold onto them tightly so they wouldn't fly off again. "Here—The fan blew them and almost went to the other side of the room" Jay laughed outwardly, rubbing his arm softly. The younger nodded and took a hold of the little stack of papers with his free hand. "Thank you" He whispered.

"I shouldn't have kissed you I'm sorry..." Jay suddenly apologizes whilst they were on their walk home for the day. The sky was awfully dark this afternoon and it threatened to pour down on them if they weren't quick enough. Jungwon looked up at him with a little pout. I don't regret it at all. He thought himself as he stared up at the older.

"Hyung, I wanted it too. I wanted to do it so badly... so don't apologize, I even gave you permission to do it" "Really? I thought maybe that was the reason why we were so awkward all day. I thought maybe you regretted kissing me" Jay looked down at his feet as they kept the same pace as before, slowing down a little bit when they saw Jungwon's street come into view.
