I woke up from the sound of my phone: seven texts and four missed calls, all from James. Shit.

*I'm looking forward to see you*

*What time should I come?*

*Do we have to reserve?*

*Why don't you answer?*

*Are you still sleeping?*

*HELLLOOOOO!!!*

*Aw, you're a little sleepyhead. That's cute.*

He didn't leave a voice mail, so I decided to call him. He answered the phone on the third ring.

"Hey, Lana. Are you finally awake?"

"Yes, I'm so sorry. I thought we would meet in the afternoon, because it's weird to eat ice cream as breakfast."

"Yes, indeed. But I just wanted to know what time, so I could get ready and stuff."

"Uhm, maybe half past one?"

"That's perfect."

"Okay, see ya soon."

"Bye, I'm looking forward to see you."

"Me too. Well, I mean I also am looking forward to see you, not me. I like looking in the mirror though."

"O, okay."

"I was just kidding, I'm sorry."

"Haha, it was quite funny. I'm used to listen to bad jokes."

"Hahaha."

And then we hung up the phone. Why have I been so rude to him? He's the sweetest person I've ever talked to. I really have to be nicer to people, maybe that could be my new purpose. Always be nice and don't judge people when you meet them for the first time.

But now it was time to get ready. I took a quick shower - because I haven't had much time left, blow dried my hair and put it in a messy bun. It was casual, but it looked good. Then I put on my cloths, brushed my teeth and did some mascara on my eyelashes.

When I finally was ready, it was all ready one o'clock: time to go. I decided go by penny board.

I arrived at the shop and looked at the tables outside: no James. Maybe he's inside. But in the building there was no James.

I decided to call him. I took my phone, while walking back outside an dialled his number.

"Hey, are you already here?", I asked.

"Yes, I arranged a table in the secluded part of the building. Just go inside and I'll go to the entry," James answered.

"Okay, I'll do that," I responded and hung up the phone. I rushed to the entry and James was already waiting there.

"Hi," he greeted shyly. It's always different to talk to people personally instead of on the phone.

"Hey," I answered. I hoped this wasn't going to be awkward.

"Let's go inside," he suggested.

"Good plan."

He leaded me to a small room. In the middle of it stood a table, neatly covered. It was beautiful and kind of romantic.

"It's maybe a bit cliche and over the top," James said while rubbing the back of his neck.

"No, I like it," I answered quickly.

"Really, because I haven't got inspiration, but I wanted to make it romantic and-"
