JULY 2014: THE FIRST TWO WEEKS
The first reason why this vacation was unforgettable was because the four of us went to Paris together. Last year we went to Knokke, a seaside town. We had a lot of fun there, but Paris was much better.
We had booked a fancy hotel with an excellent breakfast - I think that's really important, because I love breakfast. So we had an extensive breakfast every morning.
We went there for four days - three nights. We had so much fun and laughed incessantly.
The first day we looked for the Eiffel Tower of course. Climbing all the stairs was really exhausting, but we had closed a pact: we wouldn't be lazy, that means not going with the elevator. After we did that we took some pictures in front of it and then we drank something in a cozy bar. That evening we all were too tired from our journey, so we just watched some tv.
The next day we visited some museums: le petit palais and le louvre. It was really interesting and I learned a lot. While walking from one museum to another, we could not resist the temptation to ask some strangers the directions to the big ben and the statue of liberty. That evening we weren't tired so we ate something in a nice restaurant and after that we went to a show, it was spectacular and we truly had an amazing time.
Day three consisted mostly of shopping on the Champes-Elysées. We spent too much money, but we just wanted to discover the city life and act like people in movies. I had saved a lot of money now I had a job, so eventually it didn't matter. At five o'clock we were back at the hotel and rested for a while, then had dinner at the hotel restaurant. After eating we went back to our room and had a shower. We dressed up and went out - party hardy.
The forth and last day we slept long, because we had arrived late back at the hotel that night. We didn't do much that day and I really regret that, because there are many things I still wanted to visit and to do there. So we promised each other to go back.
We packed our things and went to the train station to go home. We had a lot of fun on the train. Don't ask me what we did, but I have to assure you it wasn't as bad as the janoskinas' awkward train situations videos.
When we arrived home we decided to have a sleepover at my place, even though we all were whacked. The next day we went to Grace's house and we have been sunbathing next to her pool. At 3 pm I had to go home to unpack my bags.
The day after we didn't meet up, because our family told us we saw each other too much. So we all just had some quality time with our families, nothing special.
----------------
The following week we couldn't hang out together, because Lisa, Grace and Jen were travelling with their household. In that week my life was even more boring then normally. But maybe it wasn't that bad to be alone for a moment, because then I could think about my life.
I thought about the things I still wanted to do and about the things that are the most valuable for me. My life wasn't very interesting, but I knew I was lucky to have friends and family who are always there for me. I realized that everyone tries to accomplish big things, but I noticed that life often is made up of little things. I proposed myself to always look at the bright side of life. I wanted to be positive and enjoy the little things.

Hey, I just wanted to know how you doing, so how you doing? In case you wanted to know I'm fine.
I know this part was short again, but I just don't like to beat around the bush.
Love you all
Karo xoxo
