That evening we decided to go home and sleep in our own bed, because we were absolutely exhausted. We - actually I - had slept approximately four hours, so it would be good to sleep long.
When I arrived home I immediately took a shower, because when I'm tired I always feel dirty. It was nice, the hot water poured over my body and made me completely wet. I grabbed my bottle of blueberry soap and I noticed it was almost empty. This is unfortunate, because I brought it from the Sephora store in France and it smells absolutely delicious. Another reason to go back!
After I had showered I blow dried my hair and went downstairs to eat. My mom had made lasagna and the ground floor smelled delightful just as the taste of the food. We ate outside now the weather was still good.
When we had finished our plates, we decided to watch a movie. So we went to the lounge and sat down. Meghan chose a film, because otherwise it wouldn't been a good one according to her. She gave it to me and I put it in the DVD player. The name of the movie was Your Highness, it's sort of a parody. So not a very good film, but my sister laughs too hard with this genre.
Two hours later the film ended and I decided to go to sleep. My mother already went to bed after half an hour, because she didn't like the movie. I set my alarm at eight thirty, because we had arranged to take the train to Antwerp at ten am. You probably think: Why does she set her alarm that early? Well, it's because I got thirty minutes extra to stay in bed.
-------------------
My alarm tune went of and I immediately turned my phone, so that it snoozed. Fifteen minutes later it went of again, now it was time to open the rolling shutter and go back to my bed.
Of course I fell back asleep, so three quarters of an hour later I woke up again and need to rush. I had said it already, but I'm really slow and I'm not good at doing things fast. I grabbed the first clothes I saw, brushed my teeth and grabbed an apple to eat while I skating with my penny board to Liz' house.
I was the last one who arrived, sure thing. So when I went inside, they all looked at me and then Jen said: "Where the fuck have you been? We need to hurry to the train station, otherwise we're going to miss our train."
"I know, I know. I'm sorry, I fell back asleep," I apologized.
"Typical you," Grace remarked.
"Come on, we need to go," Lisa was already going to the garden shed to grab her bike. We hurried to the train station, I hung on Jen's bike. While the three of them were locking their bikes, I ran to the locket and bought our tickets.
We rushed to the train and when we arrived at the platform, the conductor was just about to blow her whistle.
"WAIT!", I screamed.
"AHHH, you scared me," she said, "come on, hurry!"
"Thank you!", Lisa yelled. We jumped in the train and looked around to find a place where the four of us could sit down. When we spotted one, we hurried to the spot because the train was about to start driving. This time I wasn't the last one, but Jen was. The train started, she lost her balance and fell in the middle of the aisle. I bursted out in laughter, Liz and Grace joined me.
Jen looked at us with a aren't-you-guys-going-to-help-me-instead-of-embarassing-me-more expression on her face while a handsome, tanned boy with brown her walked towards her. He helped her to stand up again.
"Are you okay?", he asked.
"Uhm, Yeah. I'm fine. Thanks for helping me, Kyle," Jen mumbled.
"No probs," he said, "it's a long time ago we've seen each other."
"Yes, indeed. The last time was when ... "
"We had to do the assignment," Kyle supplemented her with a chuckle.
"Yes, when I embarrassed myself like two minutes ago," Jen admited.
"No, it was funny. You're funny," Kyle answered.
Jennifer's cheeks reddened.
"We should hang out if you have time," Kyle suggested.
"That's a great idea," Jen said.
"But I have to go now, my friends are waiting," Kyle said.
"Okay, bye."
"See you later."
"Alligator."
And then Kyle disappeared in the next wagon.
"Oh no, why the fuck did I say alligator," Jen said.
"I don't think he heard it," I reassured her.
"Of course he did," she said mad at herself.
"He just said he likes your silly comments," Grace said.
"Yes, and the rest of the conversation went well," Liz continued.
"Indeed," I agreed.
"I hope so," Jen answered, "I really do like him."
"I know," we said in unison with a smirk on our faces.
---------------------------
The train stopped in the central station of Antwerp, so it was time to step out of the train. We walked to the Meir, but before we started shopping we went to Subway to eat a sandwich.
Half an hour later we were finished and it was time to shop. We first went to the America Today, I always find loads of clothes there. So we stayed inside for a long time. Eventually I bought a pair of shorts, a tank top and blouse with short sleeves. Jen, Grace and Lisa also found some things.
Then we went further and visited a couple more shops. Three hours later we decided to eat again, but actually nobody was hungry. So we went to the smallest waffle shop to eat a delicious, Belgian waffle. I always enjoy waffles, they're one of my favourite sorts of food.
After we ate it, we continued our mission to find clothes we could wear to meet the janoskians. Two hours later we all found presentable outfit. Lisa had bought a red, sleeveless dress. Jen had found a pair of denim shorts with a plain tank top and a flannel, not much people look great with such outfit but she's that kind of person who looks beautiful with all types of clothes. Grace had bought a short, denim skirt with a floral patterned blouse and a cardigan. And I bought - I know I'm not participating, but I'm joining my friends so ... - a dress with short sleeves, the back side a bit longer than the front.
Before we went back to the train station, we stopped at a stall where they sold churros. I love churros so much, I'm addicted but it's just so delightful.
We entered the big hall and saw at the train schedule that our train just left, so we decided to go to 8tea5. We had to walk quite a distence back, but I'll do anything to have some bubble tea. Half an hour later we were on our way to the train station, again. But this time we only had to wait ten minutes on our train.
While riding back to our small village, we talked about how happy we were with our new clothes and just some other girls things. When the train arrived at the final stop, it was time to go home. We all took the shortest way, so that means we had to split up except for Liz and I. I always wonder why you're so wracked of shopping, because it isn't exausthing at all.
When we were at Liz' house she turned on her driveway and we said goodbye, I immediately went home beacause my mother eexpectedme for dinner. We ate pasta carbonara, my favourite. After dinner I took a shower and watched some tv together with my family. At ten pm I went to my bedroom to go to sleep.
