Central city

With a bright flash Barry appeared in an alleyway a little redheaded two year old in his arms and a backpack full of the stuff he needed. After standing there for a moment Barry took a quick look at his nephew, making sure the little tyke was still asleep. After he saw the little toddler was fast asleep, head resting on his shoulder, he then sped home almost instantly showing up at his front door. Barry was unbelievably excited to show Wally to Iris, knowing she would flip, so he opened the door and slowly entered.

"Unca Bawwy?" Wally asked, disoriented, just starting to wake up.

"Shhhshh we gotta be quiet we're gonna surprise aunty Iris ok." Barry said very quickly putting a finger up to his lips.

Immediately Wally perked up, giggling quietly with excitement to see his aunt, as he put a finger up to his lips too.

"Barry is that you?" Iris called out from the kitchen.

"Yeah it's me and I've got a bit of a surprise for you."

"Well it better be a good one because I was alone and worrying all night about you! You could have at least told me you were going to be gone all night." Iris yelled upset her husband worried her so much.

"Sorry babe but believe me you'll like this surprise."

Barry slowly entered the kitchen with his hands behind his back which Wally stood on.

"Well here it is!" Barry said with a wide smile as he boosted Wally up.

Iris turned around and saw little Wally standing behind Barry's back making her gasp in surprise.

"Hi Auny Iwis!" Wally greeted excitedly as he held his arms out.

Iris almost instantaneously grabbed Wally cuddling him and kissing his little head.

"Well hi there little gingerbread man!" Iris greeted excitedly as she ran her fingers lovingly through his soft red hair.

Wally immediately loved the nickname and hugged his beloved auntie.

"Barry, not that I'm complaining, but how did this happen?" Iris said as she snuggled little Wally

"Well the team was sent on a mission to DC and then they faced some magic user and he did this to him."

"Wait a minute since when did you believe in magic Mr. Science is the only thing that exists." Iris mocked.

"Well I guess- at some points- it could have- some possibility." Barry said, embarrassed at being caught in ratifying the thing he did not believe in.

"Well besides the point all that matters is we have this cute little munchkin now. Would you like to help me in the kitchen gingerbread ?" Iris asked as she lightly tossed the toddler in the air, causing mad laughter.

"Uh huh!" Wally responded excitedly as he vigorously nodded his head.

"Alright then I'll set you down here and I'll tell you what you can do for me. But don't touch the knives little guy I don't want you to get hurt. Barry why don't you take a shower you look like you could use one, I'll watch Walls for now." Iris said as she set Wally on the counter.

Barry smiled at her as he raced to the shower feeling in great need of one. For about thirty minutes he just stood there thinking over what had happened in the last thirty hours. He loved having toddler Wally around but boy did he forget how much work he was at this age. It was then Barry remembered he needed to buy a few things for his nephew. So he quickly finished, got dressed, and sped to Walmart for a few new necessities for his protégés.
