Chapter 36: Strike 2

Ava's POV

Smackdown continued on as the girls and I all sat in catering. Roman,Dean, Seth, and Punk left a while a go for their match. I never thought I would see those four team up.

"So what did you and Dean talk about?" Leighla asked nudging me.

"Nothing." I said with a smile.

"He said something! What did you guys talk about?" Isa said scooting closer to me.

"Tell us!" Aj said poking my side.

"Okay, fine. I'll tell you." I said. They all scooted closer to me and listened carefully.

"He asked me-

"To marry him?!" Isa shouted.

"No! Well, kinda." I said. They all squealed.

"Okay shut up or else I won't finish the story." I warned. They went silent.

"He asked me how I would feel if we got married."

"AHHHHH!" They all screamed. I covered my ears as they continued screaming and jumping up down.

"Guys! Sit down and shut up!" I yelled at them.

"You guys really talked about that?" Aj asked sitting down.

"Yeah." I said with a smile while looking down. My face immediately turned a bright red.

"She's blushing!" Isa pointed out. That only made my face go a darker red.

"Awww!" Leighla said hugging me.

"Wait, if you guys talked about marriage.." Aj said.

"Then he's gonna propose!" Isa and Leighla finished. They all started to scream again. Some of the Superstars and Divas started to look over at us. I covered my face with my hands. How did I become friends with them?

"He never said anything about that." I said over their screaming.

"Why else would he ask you about getting married? Just for the fun of it? There's always a reason." Aj stated. She kind of made a pretty good point.

"I guess you're right." I said shrugging.

"Aren't I always?"

"You're so full of yourself, Aj." I said chuckling.

 We watched The Shield and Punk's match for the next 20 minutes or so. They obviously got the win. I smiled as they all raised their hands in victory. All of a sudden, The Authority's music hit, and out came Randy Orton, Kane, Triple H, and Big Show. They all hurried down the ramp and slid into the ring.

"Whoa! What's going on?!" Jerry exclaimed.

"The Authority's targeting The Shield and CM Punk!" Cole said.

"Somebody stop this!" Jerry shouted.

"No! Let 'em fight! This is awesome!" JBL argued.

Big Show threw Seth and Punk out of the ring and helped Kane attack Roman. Dean was being decimated by Triple H and Orton. I bit my bottom lip in concern.

Don't do this. Not now. I thought.

I watched as Roman got chokeslammed by both Kane and Big Show. Dean was all alone. I jumped to my feet and sprinted to the curtain. I grabbed a kendo stick along the way. I bursted through the curtain as the crowd started to cheer. I ran down the ramp and slid into the ring. I started to swing my kendo stick around, hitting anyone who came in my path. I swung the kendo stick at Kane but he blocked it and snatched it out of my hand. I stepped back as he threw it out of the way. He grabbed my neck, getting ready to chokeslam me. The Seth came into the fray, hitting Kane in the face with his knee as jumped off the top rope.
