Chapter 6 *He's back but for all the wrong reasons.*

Skip walked back in and laid his bags in my room and called his mum to let her know where he was going to be staying for this week and he then continued to explain the situation which made me uncomfortable. I suddenly heard frantic knocking which startled me but didn’t seem to phase Skip. I opened the door and Jai was looking at me. He said quietly “Why didn’t you tell me?” “Tell you what?” I asked. “Justin.. I’ve been on the phone with Skip all morning and he told me I needed to stay over here with you all for a while. I noticed he had a duffle bag so I smiled. I said “Jai, I am so sorry I didn’t tell you, I was kinda scared to tell you. I’m not sure why but I was.” “Don’t ever be scared to tell me anything babe” he said. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek and led him up to my room. Jai noticed skip and ran over and hugged him and said “Thanks for telling me, faggot,” “You’re welcome Jai” Skip said. I smiled realizing that my bestfriend and boyfriend were finally friends again.

*JAIS POV*

Kaitlyn got up and went to take a bath, she said that she was going t take a long one so she’d be back later not to worry and to make ourselves at home. I looked at Skip with fear in my eyes, Skip said its going to be okay, but Justin is coming, I talked to her brother Zack this morning but didn’t tell him exactly why I was wondering because he doesn’t know about what he did to her, and Zack told me that Justin left yesterday to have a weekend in Melbourne. I shivered. I’m scared for Kait, and im sure she is terrified. “I’m going to kill him, I hate him.” I said. Skip replied and said “I can’t wait to get ahold of him, any guy who hits a girl, especially one that I care about I will kill, or try to. He’s messed up. I hate him too.” We were both mad and were being quiet. Beau then called me and said “Luke told me what has happened.. Jai if you get ahold of this guy..” he was quiet and I said “don’t worry Beau. I will, Skips here too.” “Oh yeah? Maybe we should all come over sometime and have like a movie night or something,” he said. “That should be fine” I said and noticed that Kaitlyn had come out and was talking to Skip. I heard Skip say “I’m sorry but I knew you wouldn’t tell him, so I did and I am sure he told Luke which means that all the guys probably know by now, but that’s okay, they aren’t going to tell anyone, they are just going to be there for you and Jai. She said “it’s okay, I’m glad I don’t have to tell them now though.”

I texted Luke and said “Don’t you dare tell anyone about what is happening,” he replied and said “don’t worry bro, if things get hectic, come home and I’ll take your place for a bit. Love ya, faggot.” I laughed and looked up and Kaitlyn was walking over to me. I smiled and she smiled, which took my breath away. I leaned in and kissed her and heard Skip groan and start laughing. My phone started buzzing and it said:

@danielsahyounie mentioned you “They’re the cutest #Jaitlyn @JaiBrooks1 @kaitlynadams” and had a picture of us kissing.

I looked up at Daniel only to catch all the color drain from his face. I looked confused and sent me a screenshot and @JustinRoy had favorited the tweet and replied saying:

“I’d love to meet you guys @JaiBrooks1 and @danielsahyounie”

Daniel and I both replied and said “Fuck off @JustinRoy.” I knew Kaitlyn had already seen it because she looked worried. I wrapped my arm around her, kissed her forehead and told her that everything would be okay. She grinned and looked away. She was blushing, which was super cute. Out of the blue she started breathing heavily and then started bawling, and she handed me her phone. Skip ran over and we both looked and she had her twitter opened. She had a mention from Justin.. It said “I really miss @kaitlynadams see u soon bby xx” and included a picture of her and him which was obviously quite a while ago because she looked a lot different. I noticed a large bruise on her arm and the extremely tight grip he had around her. I replied for her and said “we are done, and we have been done. Get out of my life now @justinroy” I knew this would make him mad, but I didn’t care. I then looked at my phone and noticed I, too had a mention from him.
