After the surgery was over they brought us back to a seperate room.
"Everything is alright again, but we're gonna keep her a bit longer this time to make sure it stays like that."
"Okay thank you." After that the doctor left. I took Ash's hand and patiently waited for her to wake up again. After about an hour she finnaly started to wake up.
"Hey babe." I said as she opend her eyes. She looked at me and smiled sleepingly. She chuckled and reached her hand to my face.
"Heeeey." She said and giggled. She moved her fingers over my lips and looked at them facinated.
"They're so soft." She said in a dreaming way and gigling. Oh this is gonna be fun.
"How are you feeling babe?"
"I'm hungry." She said in that same voice. Her hands still moving over my face. I chuckled. I took her hand in mine and intertwined our fingers.
"You'll need to wait a bit more before you can eat." Right then Jerome came in.
"Hey there is the pengiun!"
"Where? Where is the pengiun?" She said happely looking around. Jerome chuckled.
"Oh it's like that." He said. She looked at him and moved her hand in his direction. He came closer to her and she placed her hand on his face like she did to me. She moved her hands all over his face and looked facinated.
"Where is the fur?" She asked dissapointed. Both me and Jerome bursted out laughing.
"I had to shave it for the heat you know." She looked at him understandingly. She pulled him closer and wispered something in his ear well not really wisper but yeah.
"You see that guy?" She asked him pointing to me.
"Yes I see him." Jerome chuckled.
"Don't tell him, but I love him."
"I know Ashley."
"No Jerome. I f*cking love him." She said with a gigle.
"I want to spend the rest of my life with him." That made me smile so big and even happy tears came to my eyes. She smiled aswell and layed back down and fell asleep. I kissed her forehead softly.
"I love you too."
