He pulled me in for the hug I couldn't stop my tears anymore. I just sobbed in his arms. He helt tight against him but in a soft caring way.

"Oh Ashley. I'm sorry." He said.

"It's not your fault." I say in his chest, the sobs finnaly stopping. He kept rubbing comforting circles on my back, still hugging me.

"I could have helped you."

"No Mitch he would have just beaten you aswell." We just kept hugging eachother for the first time since Jack started abusing me I actually felt safe. Mitch pulled away and grabbed some tissues. He wiped away the make up that was smeared on my face.

"Let's forget about this for now and go to dinner." He said with a smile. I nodded and followed him out. At the restaurant I sat next to Mitch on the corner of the table we ate, talked and laughed when suddenly I got a notification on my phone. I pulled it out to see I was tagged in a tweet from the only friend I had left.

'I can't believe @AshleyMarieeGaming just cheated on her boyfriend like that. He didn't deserve this, she's just a ho.' Tears welled up in my eyes.

"I got to go to the bathroom real quick." I said and hurried to the bathroom. I slid down the wall and cried. I can't believe she did this. I thought she was my friend. I suddenly felt a body next to me and he pulled me in for a hug. I looked up to see Mitch's soft caramel eyes.

"What happend?" He asked. I showed him the tweet.

"I thought she was my friend." I say softly. Mitch pulled me closer to him and I layed my head on his chest.

"Hey there are you." I heard Jerome's voice. I felt Mitch's head shake no and then Jerome left. Mitch just kept comforting me.

"Don't worry Ash we're still here for you." He wispered in my hair. I felt him place a soft kiss on the top of my head. The blush came to my cheeks and I praised the Gods that he couldn't see.
