Spencer's phone buzzed twice, waking him up from his peaceful slumber. The football team group chat was already at it early, everyone excited that they had a second chance to reach their goal. The State Championship. Spencer and Chris organized early morning workouts on top of extra practice to prepare the team for the task before them.

Chris: Weight room 6:30am. Don't forget.

Spencer: I'm on my way up there now.

Before peeling the covers back, he scrolled through his texts and saw that Olivia had texted him earlier that morning.

Olivia: Up in the wee hours of the morning thinking about that cake.

Spencer chuckled to himself before typing back.

Spencer: Spend more time with me and there's more where that came from.

The sun wasn't even up and Olivia was probably asleep by then, so Spencer threw his phone on the bedside table and continued getting ready for his team's early morning session. The pressure was on and Spencer ignored Dr. Spears advice. He was back to carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders but this time, he would share some of that weight with his teammates. It would take all of them to fight for the victory and Spencer refused to lose.

Olivia was still reeling from the incident with the police. When Laura arrived on the scene, Olivia was paralyzed in fear, thinking the officer would turn around and come back for her. It was upsetting for any mother to find her child scared and crying on the side of the road. Laura was livid and knew she'd have to step up to handle these matters while she still worked on Tamika's case. The next morning, Laura told Billy what had happened, prompting him to stop by the house before the twins' school day began.

"She okay," Billy asked, glancing up the steps towards Olivia's room.

"I honestly don't know. She hasn't said much about it but she was scared out of her mind when I picked her up. I don't know, Billy. I think we should schedule some therapy sessions for her. She's been through a lot in these last few weeks and I don't want to ignore the signs this time," Laura suggested.

"She has a sponsor,  right," the father obliviously added.

"Her sponsor isn't a therapist. I've been thinking about finding a good therapist for the past few weeks. We need to get to the bottom of her addictive behaviors to prevent another relapse. Honestly, it's something we should have done after the shooting," Laura explained. "I don't want to mess up this time. I refuse."

Billy nodded, "I'm in support of whatever will help our baby girl. Call up the best therapist in town."

Olivia woke up to a reply from Spencer to a message she sent earlier that morning as she lay wide awake at 3AM. She typed and erased her response several times before settling on :

Olivia: That'll be no problem. I'll be at your game on Friday, could we hang out afterwards? If you feel like it?

Spencer: Sounds like a plan to me. Make sure you're wearing Crenshaw colors.

Olivia laughed when Spencer sent a string of silly emojis to follow up his text. They had an inside joke about how people overused emojis to express themselves. She threw her phone on the bedside table and grabbed her bathrobe and towel to head to the bathroom.
